still boot problem

Ok, i wanted to install DeMuDi, dowloaded the RAW-file and wrote it to a CD. B
ut because the CD was not bootable i just created Boot-Disks from the rescue.b
in, root.bin and driver-1.bin in /dists/woody/main/disks-i386/3.0.0-200107-30
/images-1.44.
So far so good.
But when booting the rescue disk the system hags. I cannot do anything but pus
h my reset-button.
The last to lines I can see are:

Try using the versions in the compact
or idepci directories instead.  Maybe
one of those will work better.

p.
i already did this, but then DeMuDi searches the CD for the compact or idepci kernel, 
which is not on it and stops the installation.

Sounds like you need to get with the DeMuDi folks (we're not them).
