Bug#595445: gdm3: Does not hibernate via the GUI

2011-01-01 Thread Deniz Akcal

Hi, I just wanted to ask if there is any progress on the issue or if it will be
addressed later on or something.

Bug#608358: iceweasel crashes with segmentation fault loading http://www.rideuta.com

2011-01-01 Thread Mike Hommey
On Fri, Dec 31, 2010 at 02:39:55PM -0700, Cobra wrote:
I tried the URL http://www.rideuta.com today and the page now loads just
fine. I suspect they changed the page recently. I then tried the URL

submitted earlier, I inferred that the problem was related to the
handling of radio buttons. I examined the HTML for the Slashdot page and
isolated the poll form which contains radio buttons. I simplified it
 substatially as follows:

!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC -//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01//EN

 brinput name=aid value=5 type=radio80%-100%

I viewed this file on a really old version of Firefox (Version 1.5)
running on a CentOS 4.3 Alpha distribution and it displays just fine and
functions as one would expect. I then tried it on the Debian 5.0.7
distribution and it fails. The backtrace resembles the one I submitted
 for http://www.rideuta.com from stack frame 0 to stack frame 19. I don't
have the source code so I can't easily investigate further.

Aaaah I hadn't noticed you were running on alpha. Well, I'm not very
surprised, alpha builds fail in many many ways.

FWIW, the source code is available with apt-get source iceweasel.

Could you test it with 10-12 from experimental?

 It is fixed in 10-12-1.

I am not sure 10-12-1 can go into squeeze, but 10-9-3 WILL cause problems
 for some OpenGL applications.

Maybe 10-12-1 can go in the first stable point release?

Yeah there are some more or less bugs which are already fixed.
I don't think that the release team will accept the experimental
version, because we are so deep in the freeze.

But I CCed them, maybe they make an exception :)

Bug#608534: fsck exit code 32 should be treated as success

2011-01-01 Thread Petter Reinholdtsen
[Ben Hutchings]
However, check{root, fsck}.sh are interactive and fsck will be and
should be interruptible. If fsck checks the filesystem only due to
a schedule (number of days or number of mounts since last check) and
not due to a detected error condition then a user interrupt should
*not* be considered a failure of the init script. Please squash
exit code 32 in these init scripts.

Something like this might work. I have not had time to complete the
patch, nor test it, and I am not sure if it is a good idea to ignore
interrupted fsck runs, so I post the patch here for review and
feedback.

Not tagging the BTS report with 'patch' as this patch is incomplete
(need to also modify checkfsck.sh).

There is new upstream version (1.8.10), including such things as XPyB support

Attention: source code needs patching a bit. In configure.ac, there is
necessary to change xpyb required version to 1.2 and re-run autoconf. As
they write, it must work without troubles.

Bug#608541: kdebase-workspace-bin: crash when opening the power management or solid configurations

2011-01-01 Thread Pino Toscano
Package: kdebase-workspace-bin
Version: 4:4.4.5-5

Hi,

on kFreeBSD, both the power management and the solid configurations crash on
opening, due to the fact that their .desktop servicetypes are not available.
Copying the files:
  usr/share/kde4/servicetypes/solidbluetoothmanager.desktop
  usr/share/kde4/servicetypes/solidnetworkmanager.desktop
  usr/share/kde4/servicetypes/solidpowermanager.desktop
makes these configurations start correctly.

Example of backtrace when opening the solid configuration (eg `kcmshell4
kcm_solid`):

Compiling libdbi without the mentioned compiler switches, caused
gnucash working correctly. After that I tried to compile the
gammu source from experimental, and voila, now no test is failing
and the package is built (I tested also the unstable libdbi0
package, where it fails like mentioned above).

Hi,

First of all, happy new year! :)

Then thanks for sending this bug report.

Finally, I will work on libdbi right after Squeeze is released.
Currently, it's not the right moment to touch anything on it. I know it
it isn't in a very good state, and I'm sorry for that. The thing is, I
didn't have much time between the opening of my account (31st of June)
and the Debian freeze (end of July), which lead to have only few of my
packages updated. I can assure you that it wont be like that for Wheezy,
and also that I will work on a backport.

I hope this answer is satisfying enough. If you think that something
must be done for Squeeze, then please let us know through the bug tracker.

Bug#608548: ikiwiki: please support generating {style, local}.css from {style, local}.scss if present

2011-01-01 Thread Jonas Smedegaard
Package: ikiwiki
Version: 3.20101231
Severity: wishlist

Hi,

Please support generating {style, local}.css from {style, local}.scss if
such file is present.

Sass is a source format for css files. More information at
http://sass-lang.com/

I suggest by default to use the perl library Text::Sass (packaged for
Debian already) but also be configurable to use the original
implementation (available in Debian as libhaml-ruby), as text::Sass does
not yet support all features of Sass.

Would be neat if also the current style.css was rewritten in Sass and,
e.g. calendar styles only applied when calendar module enabled, and
related styles expressed using variables and math to ease customization.
But this can be postponed for later - just allowing to play with Sass
integrated with ikiwiki would be a great start IMO :-)

 - Jonas

P.S.

Cc'ing Zeimetz, who filed the related RFP bug#587363 and David who
showed some interest in this on IRC.

Bug#608550: gcc-4.3-mips-linux-gnu: gcc produces incorrect assembler for a/b - it doesn't do anything.

2011-01-01 Thread Peter T. Breuer
Package: gcc-4.3-mips-linux-gnu
Version: 4.3.5-4
Severity: grave
Tags: upstream
Justification: renders package unusable

With compile options

-O0 -static -DMIPS -mips1 -mabi=32 -msoft-float -mno-memcpy

gcc produces incorrect code for division (and I suppose, %) from C.

Test code can be simply:

main() {
int a,b,c;
c = a/b;
}

compile to assembler with above flags. Read, or compile to object code
and disassemble. The eyes-on read shows:

bne $3,$0,1f #!!! ergh! Should be beq
div $0,$2,$3
break 7
1:
mflo$2

The divide is protected by a branch around the divide if the denominator
is NOT equal to zero. It should be IS equal to zero.

Checking the disassembly of the object code shows:

  1c: 1462bnezv1,28 main+0x28 (File Offset: 0x68)
  20: 0043001adiv zero,v0,v1
  24: 0007000dbreak 0x7
  28: 1012mflov0

which is as indicated by the assembler source.

No, the problem does not go away if the result from the division
is used in the source code. I haven't tested with optimization but
I see no reason to suppose that peephole optimization filters
after the generation will patch this up (except where they excise it).

If I am not errorneous, the assignment of doc was happening
by blindly following a note of lintian that requested the

It was not clear to me, that the initial assignment of the non-free

Hi Michael,

I've been trying to reproduce this bug, and I'm afraid I can't do it with a
current testing image. I used the latest netinst from
http://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/daily-builds/daily/arch-latest/i386/iso-cd/
and booted in both graphical and text modes, and in both cases when I went
past the SSID selection screen, I could use 'Go Back' to return to the
Network configuration method screen, where I can choose Reconfigure
the wireless network and re-enter the SSID.

Given that d-i has changed extensively since you submitted the bug report
(and apologies on behalf of the d-i team for not getting to this sooner),
would you be happy if this bug report was closed, or do you have a method
for reproducing the problem you initially reported on a current d-i CD
image?

Thanks,
- Matt

Bug#608553: ftp.debian.org: the table section in dak's database is not normalized

2011-01-01 Thread Torsten Werner
Package: ftp.debian.org
Severity: wishlist

The current database schema allows errors like:

projectb= select c.name as component, s.section from override o
   join component c on o.component = c.id
   join section s on o.section = s.id
   where o.package = 'paml-doc';
 component | section
---+--
 main | non-free/doc

See bug #608530 for background information. The section names should not be
prefixed by the component name. It should be 'doc' only. The component should
be 'non-free' in the example above.

Bug#608554: lintian: [checks/fields] wrong-section-according-to-package-name should be component-aware

2011-01-01 Thread Adam D. Barratt
Package: lintian
Version: 2.4.3
Severity: minor

Hi,

It would be nice if the wrong-section-according-to-package-name check
made suggestions that were component-aware. See #608530 for some
background, but for example for a binary package blah-doc produced from
a source package which is in non-free, we should be suggesting that
blah-doc be in non-free/doc, not simply doc.

Adam

Fixed in the Debian Med svn now. I'll upload later today.

Thanks.

If I am not errorneous, the assignment of doc was happening
by blindly following a note of lintian that requested the
section doc for a package name ending with -doc. I need
 to investigate
 http://lintian.debian.org/tags/wrong-section-according-to-package-name.html

Yeah, lintian could be a little smarter there. I'll open a bug so we
don't forget to fix it.

It was not clear to me, that the initial assignment of the non-free
distribution could be removed for individual packages.

There's no technical requirement that the component for the source and
binary packages be consistent - for instance, a source in main can
produce binary packages in contrib, if the dependency on non-free or
out-of-archive software is only at runtime.

The FTP team are aware of the issue, so hopefully we might get better
technical solutions in the future.

fwiw, running lintian again on the .dsc you uploaded would have
produced:

E: paml source: section-area-mismatch Package paml-doc

highlighting the issue.

Adam

Sure, feel free to go ahead.

If we're going to have a post-release upload of the 5.10 series before

2011-01-01 Thread Robert Gomulka
[cut]
Hi all,
For me the issue is to some extent still present. While I can't
reproduce keyboard stealing (well, for the short period of time, like
in Ove's description) and help popup is not coming up, the three
sub-issues are present. While switching input back on:
1. There's temporary freeze (like in Ove's description).
2. There are some strange logs (like in Ove's description).
3. There are other strange logs related to that:

Jan 1 14:22:43 laptop-rg kernel: [ 791.377716] atkbd.c: Unknown key

4. xev (occured once) reveals that switching input back on might
generate endless loop of keycode 146, like below:

Bug#604234: unreproducable here, too

2011-01-01 Thread Agustin Martin
tag 604234 +patch
thanks

2011/1/1 James R. Van Zandt j...@comcast.net:

I cannot reproduce your failure. I can install emacspeak-ss with no
 problem on my system.

I have not worked with pbuilder before.  However, I tried

  apt-get install cowbuilder
  cowbuilder --create
  cowbuilder --login
  apt-get install emacspeak-ss

 and it installed fine.

Hi, Jim,

Note that this is not a problem only in chroots. This wil fail in the
pre-configure stage everytime 'non-interactive' debconf frontend is
used. The clue to reproduce this problem is that both emacspeak and
emacspeak-ss are installed together in the same apt run and both for
the first time, e.g.,

# DEBIAN_FRONTEND=noninteractive apt-get install emacspeak emacspeak-ss

I could finally look at this and seem to have an idea about what is
happening here. The problem is that shared/emacspeak/port defaults to
'none' in emacspeak, but has no default entry for emacspeak-ss. Thus,
when emacspeak-ss template is parsed (after emacspeak one) in the apt
pre-configuration stage, its value overrides that of emacspeak, and
default becomes empty.

In non-interactive mode, since that is not an allowed value, an error
message is displayed and previous debconf prompt is shown again, new
error and infinite loop starting, causing hang, see my previous
message for more details.

I'd expect that attached untested patch should do the work. I was
preparing it for a possible NMU, but now that you are online I am
leaving it at your consideration. Do not know if there are other
similar problems hidden.

Cheers,

So dpkg-shlibdeps fails (well, as far as I read it perl). So why
is this filed against libreoffice? :)

I've requested the build dependencies of libreoffice to be installed on

Which probably didn't happen, I got loads of missing ones when I tried
 a few days ago.

Yes, many of them were only present in experimental so they couldn't be
installed in the sid chroot. The DSA folks never responded to my followup
about a dedicated chroot for this.

I then went for the emulator route and hit #605759, so I only recently
got an (unfortunately slow) s390 system up and running.

BTW, just use p...@packages.debian.org next time. pkg-perl-maintainers
isn't the maintainer for perl itself.

 OK. Shouldn't it be?

The pkg-perl project was never about maintaining the Perl interpreter.
I do welcome maintenance help of course, and there's a separate Alioth
project and mailing list set up for that.

 also successful.

While that's generally good news, I suppose it means the perl bug is
unreproducible. I don't see much to work on until it manifests again.

Failing this, I and many other wannabe game players are reduced to

It would be nice if the wrong-section-according-to-package-name check
made suggestions that were component-aware. See #608530 for some
background, but for example for a binary package blah-doc produced from
a source package which is in non-free, we should be suggesting that
blah-doc be in non-free/doc, not simply doc.

Hrm, possibly not that simple, as we could be invoked on a single binary
package which, outside of a suitably configured lab or checking
a .dsc / .changes containing the source, means that the source won't be
usefully available to compare the section against.

This could be checked in one of the source package scripts, although
that does mean doing so in a script that might not be the ideal
location.

I can't reproduce this, nor did it ever fail on one of the buildds

doesn't make any sense. We ship a few perl scripts but that's it,
and they don't need to get linked to libperl.

Please atleast show which command fail. I prefer a full log.

Bug#608504: please provide libgcrypt11 udeb package for debian-installer

 Hello,

in order to upload a cryptsetup binary which uses shared libgcrypt11
library, unfortunately some more preliminary steps are required.

the cryptsetup binary now has all dependencies in experimental
(libgpg-error0 and libgcrypt11 stored in /lib). but cryptsetup as well
provides a udeb package for the debian-installer. as the binary shipped
there is the same one, libgpg-error0-udeb and libgcrypt11-udeb packages
 are required as well.

thus i hereby ask you to provide a libgcrypt11-udeb package in order to
satisfy the dependencies of cryptsetup-udeb package once it is built
 with shared library dependencies.

see the attached patch. it applies against libgcrypt11 1.4.6-2.
[...]

Uploaded with minor changes. I fear the package will need to go
throug NEW tough, due to the added component (udeb).

Bug#490382: Should this be closed? (was: Wireless config issues with ath5k)

2011-01-01 Thread Matthew Palmer
It's an old bug, the ath5k driver has apparently been extensively rewritten,
and now (apparently) works like mac80211-based drivers. Given that I've
tested installation on a machine which uses one of these drivers (iwl3945),
it seems like this bug has probably been tidied up at some point (either by
changes in netcfg, or driver improvements).

Anyone got a *current* problem with this driver that needs fixing?

Bug#414117: Retitle bug (was: netcfg link detection confused by multiple interfaces with the same driver)

2011-01-01 Thread Matthew Palmer
retitle 414117 netcfg doesn't wait long enough to detect link
thanks

I'm not seeing anything in this bug report that indicates that there's still
a problem with netcfg picking the wrong interface due to confusion over
which NIC from a given driver to use (and, like Jeremy, I'm not seeing
anything in the code that would make this sort of thing likely). There
isn't even really enough detail to reproduce the hardware platform and try
to attack the problem that way.

However, Petter's report at the end seems reasonably legit, and worth
exploring. I see a number of reports about things taking too long, so I'm
thinking that it'd be worth implementing a progress bar to find a NIC with
link -- scan each second for 10 seconds, say, iterating over all NICs to see
if one gets a link. Error out if nothing gets a link in that time, and
allow people to try again / handle appropriately. It will likely get
complicated by wireless, and I haven't actually looked at the code to work
out if it's feasible, but it's my go to idea for now.

Not a squeeze thing, and will involve non-trivial amounts of hacking, so
I'll leave it for now and return In The Fture.

Given that e.g. sbuild-createchroot creates chroot named
$SUITE-kfreebsd-$CPU-sbuild (which is = 23 characters), this is quite
  an unfortunate limitation.

Yes, it is. Given that schroot only runs the system's standard
mount and umount commands, is this an underlying limitation in
either those commands or in the system calls? Or in the shell?

I've created a kfreebsd install using kvm, and installed sbuild and
schroot in it, and I have reproduced the problem.

The bug is not in sbuild; it's reproducible with schroot alone as you
saw.

The bug is not in schroot; it's reproducible with the plain
mount/umount commands and long paths, shown below.

Bug#608550: closed by Aurelien Jarno aurel...@aurel32.net (Re:

2011-01-01 Thread Peter T. Breuer
Hi ... (disagree, for flaw in reasoning about bne).

Also sprach Debian Bug Tracking System:
  With compile options

  -O0 -static -DMIPS -mips1 -mabi=32 -msoft-float -mno-memcpy

gcc produces incorrect code for division (and I suppose, %) from C.

  Test code can be simply:

  main() {
  int a,b,c;
  c = a/b;
  }

compile to assembler with above flags. Read, or compile to object code
and disassemble. The eyes-on read shows:

bne $3,$0,1f #!!! ergh! Should be beq
  div $0,$2,$3
  break 7
  1:
  mflo$2

The divide is protected by a branch around the divide if the denominator
is NOT equal to zero. It should be IS equal to zero.

I strongly disagree, the code is correct:

 * if v1 is equal to 0, the following sequence is executed:
   bne $3,$0,1f
   div $0,$2,$3
   break 7

Yes. The branch fails, and falls through to the division, which (fails
and) traps in the break following.

In short a division by 0 will trap.

Amen.

 * if v1 is different than 0, the following sequence is executed:
   bne $3,$0,1f

OK.

   div $0,$2,$3

Uh uh.

Why do you think so? The branch IS taken, and jumps forward. OK .. so
that depends on whatever 1f means in this dialect. I interpreted it
as jump _forward_ to the label '1' which precedes the following mflo).
I can see no other reasonable interpretation (1f as hex would not be
divisible by 4), and the machine code bears me out. I quoted it
earlier, and here it is again (obtained via objdump of the .o code):

   (main)
1c: 1462bnezv1,28 main+0x28 (File Offset: 0x68)
20: 0043001adiv zero,v0,v1
24: 0007000dbreak 0x7
28: 1012mflov0

The branch is to the mflo following the break.

So, I cannot agree.

   mflo$2

   The quotient now in v0.

Ufortunately, the conclusion is invalidated by the earlier step.

As the generated code is correct, I am closing the bug.

But unfortunately it does not appear to be correct, so you are NOT
perhaps closing the bug :-).

Regards

Please upgrade to newest upstream 0.5.2 release.

Bug#608566: live-build: standard-x11 packages list uses xresprobe that is not in Squeeze

2011-01-01 Thread intrigeri+debian
Package: live-build
Version: 2.0.10+20101219.204952~60squeeze+1
Severity: normal

Hi,

it seems like xresprobe was removed from testing.
This makes building Squeeze images using any packages list that
includes standard-x11, such as gnome-core, error out.

As a temporary workaround one can use APT pinning to fetch xresprobe
from sid, but this really should be fixed in the packages list.

Bye,

Yes. The branch fails, and falls through to the division, which (fails

I think you're getting confused by the delay slot. If you take the delay
slot into account, you'll see that the code and Aurélien are both
correct.

Bug#608561: pu: package pytris/0.98+lenny1

pytris in stable doesn't run. It imports a stdlib library that was
renamed in Python 2.5, which is the default Python in lenny.

Not so much renamed, as removed after having been deprecated for some
time; the Python 2.4 documentation for whrandom says:

Note: This module was an implementation detail of the random module in
releases of Python prior to 2.1. It is no longer used. Please do not use
this module directly; use random instead.

There has been a fix in testing and unstable for the last six months.

Is this upload acceptable for s-p-u?

The changelog should probably be updated in light of the above - the
change isn't to support Python 2.6 (which wouldn't be hugely relevant in
lenny), but rather Python = 2.5.

Other than that, please go ahead.

Adam

Upon every boot, the user has to re-configure the applet. I noticed that
this is not the case in Lenny.

I can't reproduce this issue here.

Do you use custom script in /etc/init.d to tell NM to sleep/wake on shutdown?

What is the content of
/var/lib/NetworkManager/NetworkManager.state
after shutdown (boot from a live cd to find out).

What is the content of this file, after boot, before you use nm-applet.

What is the output of nm-tool?

The output of NetworkManager --no-daemon would be helpful too.
Before you re-eneable networking via nm-applet, run (as root)
/etc/init.d/network-manager stop
NetworkManager --no-daemon

then check nm-applet and re-enable the network (if necessary).

Attach the log of NM please.

gcc produces incorrect code for division (and I suppose, %) from C.

   Test code can be simply:

   main() {
   int a,b,c;
   c = a/b;
   }

compile to assembler with above flags. Read, or compile to object code

The divide is protected by a branch around the divide if the denominator
is NOT equal to zero. It should be IS equal to zero.

I strongly disagree, the code is correct:

  * if v1 is equal to 0, the following sequence is executed:

Yes. The branch fails, and falls through to the division, which (fails

Because MIPS uses delay slots. It's one of the basic you should know
before looking at MIPS assembly code.

Bug#608025: [debian-installer] Windows 7 entry is not written to GRUB list

2011-01-01 Thread Paul Bryan Roberts

Hi,

I have noted the same issue and workaround as Rafael but I am using
Squeeze beta 2:

Debian GNU/Linux squeeze-di-beta2 Squeeze - Official Beta i386
  NETINST Binary-1 20101203-16:34

I have now tried again with:

Debian GNU/Linux testing Squeeze - Official Snapshot i386 NETINST
  Binary-1 20110101-09:10

as suggested by Miguel with the same unfortunate result.

I have this issue on a old machine with Windows 2000 and on not-as-old
laptop with Windows XP Home.

After installation, the section that one expects
/etc/grub.d/30_os-prober to have filled in is empty.
After running update-grub, the section appears to have been filled in
correctly.

I don't have this problem on the only other machine I have that has a
second OS installed.
However, in this last case, the second OS is an old Debian on a second
hard disk.
The installation here used a USB installer in conjunction with the amd64
net installer

and not a straight net install from CD.

Happy New Year,
   Paul Bryan

Bug#608572: unblock: console-setup/1.67

2011-01-01 Thread Christian Perrier
Package: release.debian.org
Severity: normal
User: release.debian@packages.debian.org
Usertags: unblock

Please unblock package console-setup

Againsorry. Hopefully last version for squeeze, this time.

The s...@latin translation of debconf templates was *still* leading to
upgrade problems because the package need to Pre-Depend on debconf = 1.5.34
which was mentioned in Pre-Depends.however, with an alternative to
debconf-2.0 which is satisfied by versions of debconf prior to 1.5.34.

This has been fixed in 1.67.

That version also brings in a fix by Anton Zinoviev for #608227
(XKBLAYOUT always get a _ suffix). The fix was reviewed by Julien
Cristau when we discussed on #debian-boot about this fix being
suitable for squeeze.

Bug#490382: Should this be closed? (was: Wireless config issues with ath5k)

2011-01-01 Thread Christian PERRIER
Quoting Matthew Palmer (mpal...@debian.org):
It's an old bug, the ath5k driver has apparently been extensively rewritten,
and now (apparently) works like mac80211-based drivers. Given that I've
tested installation on a machine which uses one of these drivers (iwl3945),
it seems like this bug has probably been tidied up at some point (either by
changes in netcfg, or driver improvements).

Anyone got a *current* problem with this driver that needs fixing?

Hard to say and I bet you won't get any answer. The best chance to get
one is indeed closing the bug with feel free to reopen if you still
experience this bug..:)

Bug#593941: RFA: monit -- A service and system monitoring utility

2011-01-01 Thread Arno Töll
Hi,
I am also interested to adopt the package if the package is yet left to
assign to a new potential maintainer. I don't know if you have heard
something from Jeremiah since his offer, hence I'm asking. I'd do the
packaging work together with a co-worker of mine where both of us do use
monit independently.

Moreover I do already have some experience to package upstream sources
to appropriate Debian packages as I run my own repository for corporate
use. Therefore if you are willing to be my/our sponsor I'd give it a try
soon. If you are interested, let me hear from you.

kthxbye

This patch should fix the FTBFS on kFreeBSD. Please be aware that the
issue is not (yet) fixed upstream since the upstream fix is conditional
on __FreeBSD__ and not __FreeBSD_kernel__. I have sent Con Kolivas a
patch to fix this as well.

Did you have any chance to test the amd64 packages I poointed you to?

This fix is a good candidate for squeeze but I would like to have

 I've tested the test packages:

 libwbclient0
 samba-common
 samba-common-bin
 smbclient
 winbind

They have worked well with saslauthd and there is no longer growth in the
file descriptors after a couple of days running.

OK, thanks for your tests and thanks to everybody for the great job
you did investigating this.

I just asked the release team approval to upload a fix for this bug,
meant for squeeze.

This bug is definitely #574468, hence merging both bugs.

Bug#593700: The package has a generic C version of this function

2011-01-01 Thread Chris Butler
On Mon, Nov 15, 2010 at 09:29:44PM -0500, Asheesh Laroia wrote:
Take a look at line 35 of source/snd_qf/snd_mix.c. There is (what
appears to be) a portable C version of the
 S_WriteLinearBlastStereo16 function.

Now to take a look at what guides the choices at compile time

This seems to have been caused by the following change:

  * New upstream release. (Closes: #544787).
  + Don't apply fix_different_archs.diff, upstream source different.

Part of that patch includes the following change to
./warsow_0.42_src/source/game/q_shared.h:

-#if ( defined ( _M_IX86 ) || defined ( __i386__ ) || defined ( __ia64__ ) )
!defined ( C_ONLY )
+#if (defined(_M_IX86) || defined(__i386__))  !defined(C_ONLY)
 #define id386
 #else
 #ifdef id386

i.e. it stops it from defining id386 when __ia6__ is defined. id386 is
used to determine when to use the x86 assembler code.

The location of this file has changed, it is now at
./source/gameshared/q_arch.h, but the patch is easily applied to that file
instead. Refreshed patch is attached.

This bug doesn't affect the version of the package that's currently in
testing, since this new upstream release never migrated.
