Bug#723778: RFP: thumbor -- thumbor is a photo thumbnail service

2013-09-19 Thread Guilherme Gondim
Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist

* Package name: thumbor
  Version : 3.14.1
  Upstream Author : globo.com timeh...@corp.globo.com
* URL : https://github.com/globocom/thumbor/wiki
* License : MIT License
  Programming Lang: Python
  Description : thumbor is a photo thumbnail service

Thumbor is a smart imaging service. It enables on-demand crop,
resizing and flipping of images.

It also features a VERY smart detection of important points in the
image for better cropping and resizing, using state-of-the-art face
and feature detection algorithms (more on that in Detection
Algorithms).

Using thumbor is very easy (after it is running). All you have to do
is access it using an url for an image, like this:

http://thumbor-server/300x200/smart/s.glbimg.com/et/bb/f/original/2011/03/24/VN0JiwzmOw0b0lg.jpg

Since gnome-core depends on pulseaudio package and also provides bluetooth
support, I suppose is a good idea support bluetooth in pulseaudio or end-users
will find difficult set up his headsets.

Bug#626544: gnome-screensaver: does not lock the screen in GNOME 3 when the computer goes to sleep

 Are you sure you did not change the settings? You can check them with
 dconf-editor.

I gave a look in my dconf settings and I found a way to fix this
behaviour: I disabled lock-use-screensaver so lock-suspend works
now.

Anyway, I still consider it as a bug since the default configuration
for lock-use-screensaver is true, that means lock-hibernate,
lock-suspend, lock-blank is not considered.

I'm not sure if that bug is related to gnome-screensaver package... Anyway in
GNOME 2, when you put the computer to sleep the screen is locked as well.

My opinion is that should be the behavior in GNOME 3 also, or at least offer a
option to set up it.
