Bug#566647: Subject: icedove: Could'nt get addons...

2010-01-24 Thread LENHOF Jean-Yves

Package: icedove
Version: 3.0.1-1
Severity: normal

It seems that %APP% in /usr/lib/icedove/defaults/pref/all-thunderbird.js
is
not properly positionned to icedove instead of thunderbird. When I try
to
browse addons for example it goes to
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/icedove instead of
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird or something like this...

Bug#443524: Status ?

2009-04-02 Thread LENHOF Jean-Yves
After looking around for an answer about downloading new pear packages
into /usr/local/share and using pear debian package to be sure things
are distinct and because I tend to prefer to have manually installed
things into /usr/local... I have found this bug which to discuss this
problem.

What is the status ? Is there a good practice about these problems ?

Bug#502614: mixxx: New upstream version

2008-10-18 Thread LENHOF Jean-Yves
Subject: mixxx: New upstream version
Package: mixxx
Version: 1.6.0~beta3-2
Severity: wishlist

Version 1.6.1 could fix an annoying bug I have with the waveform in
version 1.6.0 when I drag and drop an mp3 file on it. (Not each time)

In the release notes there's Fixed a problem where the waveform view
went unresponsive

Could you package it ?

Is it also possible to push this 1.6.1 release on lenny ? (For version
1.6.0 I've already installed it on a lenny desktop without hitch just by
downloading the deb files. Just letting a beta version in lenny isn't
good I think).

Bug#471417: gtkhtml3.14: URLs with ampersand () don't work

2008-03-18 Thread LENHOF Jean-Yves
Subject: gtkhtml3.14: URLs with ampersand () don't work
Package: gtkhtml3.14
Version: 3.16.1-1
Severity: normal

In evolution, when I receive URL from Ebay, Lidl, or a message with an
URL with ampersand in it, I need to remove the amp; in amp; each
time... This is particularly annoying bug which is fixed in a more
recent package. I know that there's a new version in unstable. But it
seems this new version could not come in lenny because of deps
(http://bjorn.haxx.se/debian/testing.pl?package=gtkhtml3.14
 show that glib2.0 and pango1.0 is in freeze). So perhaps, packaging the
version 3.16.2 just to go for lenny could be nice.

Bug#403920: sympa: syslog facility badly configured

  You might :

  * modify debian/sympa_wizard.pl to use LOCAL0 (problem if already used)

  * Return to the firsts debian package and use
syslog = `cat /etc/sympa/facility`

 What happens if the user has installed syslog-ng ?

That does'nt change so much for the pure sympa configuration...
but for the /etc/syslog-ng/syslog-ng.conf you should have to modify
these lines...

destination df_sympa { file(/var/log/sympa.log); };

filter f_local1 { facility(local1); };

# local1.* /var/log/sympa.log
log {
source(s_all);
filter(f_local1);
destination(df_sympa);
};

JY, who use a manual install of sympa on his sarge... because version
5.2 is very much an improvement towards 4.1 version. (unicode support
was one of my problem if I remember correctly). Thanks for Jean-Charles
to provide patchs, perhaps on the long run it will pay. As always, you
have to make evidence that you know what to do... but I think you are on
the good way to convince Stefan that you can help him on the maintenance
of this package.

Bug#357439: Trying another compile option ?

2006-11-14 Thread LENHOF Jean-Yves
I saw on this page that there are about three ways to compile amaya
http://www.w3.org/Amaya/User/Autoconf.html

Compiling with GTK+ seems not so interesting because of the SVG
support...

But for now as I've seen on the debian rules file, amaya is compiled
with this option :
--with-wx --with-gl

Perhaps compiling with this option :
--with-wx

and choosing to link against mesa instead of opengl will make the
problem vanish...

Just my 0,02 €

Bug#326687: Problem with files 2Go

2006-08-22 Thread LENHOF Jean-Yves
This is an iso9660 limitation... taken from google

*Which* DVD filesystem? ISO9660 is limited to 2G because file sizes
are
stored in a signed 32-bit int. UDF does not have that limitation.

If you want to put a such file you'll have to use mkudffs (or ext2) or
splitting your files (that's why .VOB never have a such size)

Bug#302718: Problems with last upload of xfree in testing

2005-04-02 Thread LENHOF Jean-Yves
Package: xserver-xfree86
Version: 4.3.0.dfsg.1-12.0.1

Hi guys,

Since the last upgrade, X does'nt work anymore on my desktop (I use a
laptop just now to catch some errors). Sometimes gdm come on the screen,
sometimes not... But when I have gdm, I try to log in and the screen
vanish. The problem just came whith the last upgrade of sarge regarding
X11

When making test... sometimes kernel stop IRQ 16 so I can't have anything
on the screen and can only do a hard reboot. So that's why I tag this
important bug.
