Hello Yves-Alexis,

many thanks for your hint with disable GL.

I've compile xfwm4 without that, and now is it ok.

2018-06-23 Thread Margot Berg

Hello Stuart,

thanks for your replay.

Xfce does not have a wayland yet, this DE still works with xorg.

My debian sid has xserver-xorg-core 1.20.0-2, so very up to date.

Unfortunately, I have no idea how to fix this bug.
I do not want to downgrade xorg or xfce.

best regards

Hi All,

Can any of you try the fix for Bug 901497 ?

This could be an Xwayland issue that until recently was hard to trigger.

Alternatively try using the X.org X server rather than the Wayland one to see if that helps.

no reaction to the message?
The error is not so unimportant, since many users will certainly use this lib.
Thank you in advance for your help.

Thank you for your prompt replay.

I had also installed librsvg2-bin and librsvg2-common.

The system is updated every day and shows no other errors.

For a better understanding, I attached two screenshots.

Bug#573190: This Bug and Bug #583480

2010-08-21 Thread Margot Berg
In the meantime, I found the Bugnumber 583480 with the same Error in
Synaptic.

The Error is still in the Version 0.70 ~pre1.
My workaround at the moment is the following Parameter in /etc/apt/apt.conf
APT::Acquire::Translation none;
but this can't be the solution for this problem.

Bug#573190: synaptic: Search function faulty in Synaptic

2010-03-09 Thread Margot Berg
Package: synaptic
Version: 0.63.1
Severity: normal

I use the search function in Synaptic. if I want then to install the found
package, I get an error message and it is impossible to install this package.
For example libc6-dev, the error message is:
Not authentification
and
E: package file /var/lib/apt/lists/
ftp2.de.debian.org_debian_dists_sid_main_i18n_Translation-de could be not
processed (2)
E: The download list couldn't be closed

No further packages can then be installed.

Without use of the search function, synaptic works ok.
