Bug#1016961: reverse dependency

I just had a look at the output of the dak command from the removals
page[1].

aardvark-dns is NOT built on any architectures that I requested this partial
removal of. In fact, I expect this request to allow aardvark-dns to migrate to
testing, because all of its dependencies can migrate.

You are right.  The icing on the cake would have been to find this
information in the removal bug.

Hi Thorsten,

I don't follow, and I don't think anything needs to be addressed here.

aardvark-dns is NOT built on any architectures that I requested this partial
removal of. In fact, I expect this request to allow aardvark-dns to migrate to
testing, because all of its dependencies can migrate.

I may certainly have misunderstood. In that case, can you please help me with
more some more specific directions in how to resolve this issue?

Thank you so much for your patience with me.

Best,

Control: tags -1 + moreinfo

Hi Reinhard,

there is a reverse dependency that needs to be taken care of:

Checking reverse dependencies...
# Broken Build-Depends:
aardvark-dns: librust-trust-dns-proto-dev

This needs to be addressed first. Please remove the moreinfo tag once that
is done.
