The current version of bazaar fails to build on GNU/kFreeBSD,
because of outdated config.guess and config.sub.
The versions of config.guess and config.sub in bazaar are too
old to correctly support Debian GNU/k*BSD. A version is needed
from this year, which is available in the autotools-dev packages
that are in current sarge, and sid.
You can simply copy them manually, but it can also be done
automatically using the method described in
/usr/share/doc/autotools-dev/README.Debian.gz
It would also be nice if you cans ask upstream to update
config.guess and config.sub in their next release.
Yo folks,
this sounds like a good idea in general, does anyone have any objections
to me just doing in thelove? It test builds fine for me on i386, but I
don't have access to anything more obscure anymore to test on...
If there's no objections by, say, wednesday AEST, I'll just commit to
thelove and see how the autobuilders like it.

ps the files are in src/build-tools/gnu/.
