Bug#380037: emacs21: segmentation fault when resizing xterm

2009-01-07 Thread Brian May

I had the exact same problem with emacs in stable, this is testing.

At the time, I am generally running gnus inside emacs.

Possibly related is this message emacs/gnus sometimes gives me (instead
of segfaulting):

Wrong type argument: window-live-p, #window 5

Do you also have this problem with the emacs22 packages in Lenny?

Sorry, not in a ideal state to test this any more, as I don't use GNUS
any more or emacs from Debian.

If you want to assume it is fixed, that is ok with me.

Bug#380037: emacs21: segmentation fault when resizing xterm

 Package: emacs21

If I resize the xterm containing emacs, then sometimes emacs will
 seg-fault:

Fatal error (11).zsh: segmentation fault emacs

Unfortunately, while this occurs frequently during normal use, I cannot
 reproduce it on demand.

Neither can I, for that matter.

I had the exact same problem with emacs in stable, this is testing.

At the time, I am generally running gnus inside emacs.
