Bug#842965: 4.08 regression: gaps between the xterms

2016-11-15 Thread Harald Dunkel
Hi Tony,

I couldn't tell if setting "auto_wm_decoration_offsets=yes" gives
the same (bad) layout, but without this config option cssh seems
to be fine again.

Good work
Harri

clusterssh-4.08-2 works fine under WindowMaker.

Thnx!

Bug#842965: 4.08 regression: gaps between the xterms

2016-11-10 Thread tony mancill
For the record, I opted to revert the new functionality by default in
4.08-2 and add a new configuration setting to allow users to enable
that code. Therefore, with the installation of 4.08-2, the behavior
with respect to default window geometries should be the same as in
version 4.07.

To get the upstream behavior, add:

 auto_wm_decoration_offsets=yes

to ~/.clusterssh/config.

Please let me know if this doesn't resolve the issue reported. If
there is sufficient interest, I may opt to send the patch upstream.

Cheers,
tony

PS: See the comments in

It would be very nice if you could back out pull 66 for
the Debian version.

Bug#842965: 4.08 regression: gaps between the xterms

2016-11-02 Thread Harald Dunkel
-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-
Hash: SHA256

Package: clusterssh
Version: 4.08-1

The new version breaks the layout of the xterms on the screen.
Suddenly they all have a gap between them. The font seems to
be the same. They are wasting precious space on the screen.

Moving back to version 4.07-1 fixes the problem.

Using the default config, of course.

Regards
Harri
