Bug#990435: diodon: /etc/apport/ needed?
Hey. Seems that this didn't work perfectly: Unpacking diodon (1.11.1-1) over (1.11.0-1) ... dpkg: warning: unable to delete old directory '/etc/apport/crashdb.conf.d': Directory not empty dpkg: warning: unable to delete old directory '/etc/apport': Directory not empty Preparing to unpack .../libdiodon0_1.11.1-1_amd64.deb ... However, the directories are empty, but now leftover :-( # find /etc/apport/ /etc/apport/ /etc/apport/crashdb.conf.d Cheers, Chris.
Bug#990435: diodon: /etc/apport/ needed?
Hi Chris, Thanks for reporting this. This file is actually obsolete and was only needed when Diodon was only available on Launchpad before publishing it to Debian and synced to Ubuntu from there. See here [0] for more information. This file should indeed be removed from the Debian package. Bug#990435: diodon: /etc/apport/ needed?
Package: diodon Version: 1.11.0-1 Severity: wishlist Hey. It seems apport is not even available in Debian, or is it? So perhaps /etc/apport/* can be dropped from the package? Thanks, Chris
