Problem mit kernel 2.4.16 und realtek-Karte
Hallo, ich habe mittels menuconfig das Modul rtl8139 zu meinem Wunschkernel hinzugefügt nun meldet sich beim start immer: can't locate module af_packet rtl8139 modprobe: can't locate module rtl8139 Wenn ich in den Kernelsourcen nachschaue, sehe ich unter /usr/src/kernel/drivers/net/ nur 8139too.o und 8139too.c Ich habe die beiden dann mal kopiert als 8139.c und 8139.o und anschliessend neu make dep clean modules modules_install gemacht Nachher den neuen Kernel gebootet und das gleiche Ergebnis bekommen. If you have one of those, say Y and read file:Documentation/networking/8139too.txt as well as the Ethernet-HOWTO, available from http://www.tldp.org/docs.html#howto. If you want to compile this driver as a module ( = code which can be inserted in and removed from the running kernel whenever you want), say M here and read file:Documentation/modules.txt. This is recommended. The module will be called 8139too.o.
