Bug#631356: RPF: eina-player -- Simple music player based on gtk3 and gstreamer
Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist Eina (or eina-player for avoid collision with libeina from e17) is a simple and extensible music player. Current music players are focused on managing your music collection, while using mandatory criteria about how they organize it. Eina does not care about it at all. If your are an organized person, chances are your music collection is organized too, and you won't like to spend your time rearranging it to follow your player's specific rules. In addition, having those players to arrange music that's randomly stored, named or tagged, is usually counterproductive. - Based on gtk+ 3 and gstreamer 0.10. - Extensible via plugins, next version will support python and javascript plugins thanks to libpeas. - Small memory footprint. - System integration with support for notifications, XDG-compilant, stock icons. - Follows as close as possible Gnome HIG guidelines. Eina developer, me, is totally open to collaboration to get Eina into Debian, so ask or report anything. Bug#519898: gsoap
tor 2011-06-23 klockan 00:59 +0200 skrev Stefano Canepa: Hi all, if I understand correctly your interest in gsoap is only to get build dependency satisfied so I see we can evaluate two options, both to release 2.8.3: 1) I can continue to experiment my packages changes with current release and if I successfully building all the packages I've planned I can package 2.8.3 as soon as we have it and upload it with your help 2) we can go on with actual package structure build 2.8.3 and postpone my little revolution to 2.8.3+1. If Mattias would like to take over the package becouse you are in a hurry and I don't mind. I'm still interested in packaging for Debian but I know I'm taking care of this package in the right way till now. Bye Stefano I have already created a 2.8.2 package based on the latest upstream release. I am waiting for the 2.8.3 release to get the licensing issues resolved before I can upload. I am happy to share the current state of the package I have prepared. You can find it here: http://www.ellert.se/gsoap/ I hope we can work together and avoid duplication of work. If you have additional ideas about how the package can be improved, I would like to hear about them. Mattias smime.p7s Description: S/MIME cryptographic signature

Bug#631383: RFP: minpspw -- native port of the BSD PSPSDK with freely distributable import libraries and header files for building cross compiled homebrew Sony PSP applications.
Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist *** Please type your report below this line *** * Package name: minpspw Version : 0.11.2 Upstream Author : Name someb...@example.org * URL : pmlo...@gmail.com * License : GPL and mixed Programming Lang: (C, C++, C#, Perl, Python, etc.) Description : native port of the BSD PSPSDK with freely distributable import libraries and header files for building cross compiled homebrew Sony PSP applications. A native Win32 port of the BSD PSPSDK (ps2dev.org), with freely distributable import libraries and header files (DevPaks) for building cross compiled homebrew Sony PSP (PlayStation Portable) applications. MinPSPW is a project that started out from my need to write indie video games for the Sony PlayStation Portable Console. After realizing that the development of such software was extremly boring due to the fact that one needs to spend more time compiling dependencies and handling the quirks of having both the SDK and Libs available for *nix environments, I decided to port them to my every day OS (Windows XP 32Bits). This project is different from the Official Homebrew PSP SDK and DevKitPro in the way that once you install the SDK and a couple of DEVPAKs you can use your normal Windows Command Prompt to execute a build. No Cygwin, no MSys, no UWIN32. This project is evolving and if you would like to see some OSS library added as a devpak feel free to request it in the tracker. Of course I cannot guarantee that it will be available but I'll try to see how hard it will be to port and add a build to the download section and a build script to the source control system. -- Forwarded message -- From: Paulo Lopes pmlo...@gmail.com Date: Thu, Jun 23, 2011 at 12:43 Subject: Re: need e-mail and license for debian To: shirisha...@gmail.com Hi, My deb builds are a super hack, basically i builds the SDK plus all the bundled libs and then pack the resulting directory to a tar.lzma file and write the metadata files by hand and compress the final with ar generating a valid deb file. If you want to make it right and submit to debian i am all for it :) My email is this one: pmlo...@gmail.com And my license is GPL, however on the installer you have almost all of them: GPL, LGPL, BSD, etc... since i list all licenses from all the sub projects, since all i do is patching GCC, GDC, GDB, Newlib, Binutils, ZLib, BZIP2, FreeType2, etc... (all the cross compiled libs...) Also it will be hard to compile since i do not host svn.ps2dev.org code and that site has been down for long time and only comes up now and then... you can fix it by pointing to http://psp.jim.sh/svn but since i always keep a local copy on my machine i never updated the build script. Just let me know what else you need to get a proper build :) BTW, it should be possible to build both 32 and 64 bit builds (atleast on intel/amd) i never tried on other architectures. Bug#434029: Builds okay on squeeze w/ a powermac
Hi, Just wanted to let people know that qfsm builds and runs okay on a powermac running squeeze. I only needed to install qt4-dev-tools and cmake (with associated dependencies) within the context of a standard build environment to get it to build. Although, people should be aware that by default it installs in standard places and not /usr/local. Used version qfsm-0.52.0-Source. -jeff -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-wnpp-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble? Bug#631455: RFP: iipimage -- Imaging server system for web-based streamed viewing and zooming of ultra high-resolution images
Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist * Package name: iipimage Version : 0.9.9 Upstream Author : Ruven Pillay ru...@users.sourceforge.net * URL : http://iipimage.sourceforge.net/ * License : GPL Programming Lang: JavaScript, Java, C++, ActionScript, Flex Description : Imaging server system for web-based streamed viewing and zooming of ultra high-resolution images IIPImage is an advanced high-performance feature-rich imaging server system for web-based streamed viewing and zooming of ultra high-resolution images. It is designed to be fast and bandwidth-efficient with low processor and memory requirements. The system can comfortably handle gigapixel size images as well as advanced image features such as both 8 and 16 bit depths, CIELAB colorimetric images and scientific imagery such as multispectral images. Streaming is tile-based, making it possible to view, navigate and zoom in real-time around gigapixel size images that would be impossible to download and manipulate on the local machine. It also makes the system very scalable as the number of image tile downloads will remain the same regardless of the size of the source image. Source images can be in either TIFF or JPEG2000 format. Whole images or regions within images can also be rapidly and dynamically resized and exported by the server from a single source image without the need to store multiple files in various sizes. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-wnpp-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe.
