libmoox-options-perl already exists, cf. e.g.

This implements a HTML::Template class similar to Perl's one. Its

prospective variables to be replaced by their values by the Ruby
CGI script. Also, you can deal with a nested block, a loop and a
 conditional expression.

During packaging I found that in its current (v4.6.7) form zuluCrypt
requires zulu*-cli to be setuid binaries.
I'm not comfortable with uploading the package with the setuid binaries
present in it even when only users of a special group can execute them.
You can follow the discussion with upstream at [1].

Laszlo and I have almost finished the packaging work which remains
available [2] at collab-maint for anyone willing to continue the
packaging and maintenance work.

There is also a similar but simpler GUI called palimpsest which provides
some of zuluCrypt's features in gnome-disk-utility [3] without using
setuid binaries.

Thanks,
Balint

I'd be interested in helping. I have no need (yet) for Python 3.3, but do need
a recent rdflib for ongoing experimentations with WebID for Django-based Debian

What's the current status on your side ?

Maybe we could envision some collaborative maintenance under the umbrella of

I'm a DD, for what it's worth (may be sponsoring for instance ;).

OK, so I'll have a deeper look.

I see.

For me, the VCS is not so much of a big deal, as I more or less either
use git-buildpackage or svn-buildpackage when need be... but I do prefer
git if there's a choice to make, too ;-)

Still, I think the main issue is the manpower, and fulfilling different
needs, like yours of Python 3 and mine of Python 2, etc. So that's why I
think collaborative maintenance is something we should seek... but
that said, I'm a newcomer to the Python modules team (just arrived
yesterday ;) so I don't know exactly all the habits there.

if you want to join in and want to do something before i get to continue

I'll start with git and we shall see what happens, maybe getting more
knwoledge of what's cooking re Python modules team and git.

I'll let you know soon of my progress.

i have set up a repository in collab-maint at [1] and reverted the last
commits that were required before python3 reached version 3.3 in
unstable.

it builds fine now, it's just not upgraded to the current rdflib version
(4-something iirc). as the packaging is quite minimal (thanks to pybuild
and sane upstream behavior), i assume upgrading won't require much work.

some parts of the packaging are not yet up to the standards i'd hold to
these days (lack of dep3 headers on patches, and worse, outdated
copyright file); i can't fix them right now.

measurements between clouds, measurement noise filtering,
and allows for differing sample spacing and scanner visibilities.

Done. Please remind that also the Git repository is now

ssh://git.debian.org/git/debian-med/python-mne.git

I updated my .git/config

If I were you I would stop maintaining this. People might become
confused which debian/ stuff is the right one (TM). So you could
safe extra work which has no real use IMHO.

ok will do.

Let me know when we can advertise debian packaging.

Since I just uploaded this now only depends from ftpmaster accepting the
package (sorry, currently this simply takes about one month for
accepting new packages). As the owner of the ITP bug you will be
 notified automatically.

perfect.

btw we'll have a 0.7.1 release early next week due to a few issues
spotted by our early adopters...

Bug#676396: [Pkg-javascript-devel] node-jsdom

 Hi David,

Can I give you a hand with node-jsdom?
We need its newer version for d3 [1], see ITP #676396:

 http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=676396

 Thank you.

 [1]: http://d3js.org/

While it's a very good idea to package jsdom,
as far as you want to package libjs-d3, jsdom isn't needed.
jsdom is needed if you want to run d3 on server, i.e. package
node-d3.

Jérémy.

Bug#730664: O: obdgpslogger

2013-11-27 Thread Bernd Zeimetz
Package: wnpp
Severity: normal

As the maintainer went missing after the initial upload of obdgpslogger,
and the package is maintained by NMUs, I'm orphaning it.

Description-en: suite of tools to log OBDII and GPS data
OBDII is a standard for getting diagnostic information from your car.
The main tool, obdgpslogger, is a command-line tool to log that data,
with your gps position, to a sqlite database. Provided alongside are
various tools used to convert logs to formats such as CSV or Google
 Earth KML.
Also contained in the package is an OBDII and ELM327 simulator, obdsim,
that uses plugins to generate data.

Bug#730666: ITP: python-netcdf4 -- Python bindings for netCDF4 library

2013-11-27 Thread Andreas Hilboll
Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist
Owner: Andreas Hilboll andr...@hilboll.de

* Package name: python-netcdf4
  Version : 1.0.7
Upstream Author : Jeffrey Whitaker whitaker.jeff...@gmail.com
* URL : https://code.google.com/p/netcdf4-python/
* License : MIT
  Programming Lang: Python, C
Description : Python bindings for netCDF4 library

netCDF version 4 has many features not found in earlier versions of the
library and is implemented on top of HDF5. This module can read and write
files in both the new netCDF 4 and the old netCDF 3 format, and can create
files that are readable by HDF5 clients. The API modelled after
Scientific.IO.NetCDF, and should be familiar to users of that module.

Most new features of netCDF 4 are implemented, such as multiple unlimited
dimensions, groups and zlib data compression. All the new numeric data types
(such as 64 bit and unsigned integer types) are implemented. Compound and
variable length (vlen) data types are supported, but the enum and opaque
data
types are not. Mixtures of compound and vlen data types (compound types
containing vlens, and vlens containing compound types) are not supported.

meteorological and oceanographic data sets

The Iris library implements a data model to create a data abstraction layer
which isolates analysis and visualisation code from data format
specifics. The
data model we have chosen is the CF Data Model. The implementation of this
model we have called an Iris Cube.

Iris currently supports read/write access to a range of data formats,
including (CF-)netCDF, GRIB, and PP; fundamental data manipulation
operations,
such as arithmetic, interpolation, and statistics; and a range of integrated
plotting options.

Iris is published under an LGPLv3 licence.

Indeed there was a refactoring of bladeRF upstream providing
more clarity on copyright and licensing:

So I will be uploading bladerf_0.8.0.14.9126eac-1 which includes
this commit for NEW processing.

2013-11-27 Thread Povilas Kanapickas
Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist
X-Debbugs-CC: debian-de...@lists.debian.org

The upstream of this package has died roughly two years ago.
Subsequently the package has been removed from Debian. I've recently
stepped in as the upstream maintainer and would like to see AWN return
back to Debian and Ubuntu.

   Package name: avant-window-navigator
Version: 0.4.2
Upstream Author: several people
Upstream Maintainer: Povilas Kanapickas povi...@radix.lt
URL: https://github.com/p12tic/awn
License: Various for different parts of the program: GPL-2,
LGPL-2, CC-BY-SA 3.0
Description: Avant-window-navigator (Awn) is a MacOS X like panel
for the GNOME Desktop written in C. In addition to launchers that can
be dragged onto the bar, it features a taskbar that behaves similarly to
the Mac OSX dock. The window navigator uses the composite extension for
transparency and other effects.
