[Declude.JunkMail] my first venture into SPAMDOMAINS

2003-07-22 Thread David Dodell
Just starting to setup SPAMDOMAINS ... is the following setup correct?

IN config put:

spamdomains c:\imail\declude\sd.txt

In sd.txt

sprintpcs.com .sprintip.net

The received line looks like this:

Received: from dedicated60-bos.wh.sprintip.net [63.167.114.16]

Thanks for the corrections.

David

Re: [Declude.JunkMail] my first venture into SPAMDOMAINS

2003-07-22 Thread R. Scott Perry

Just starting to setup SPAMDOMAINS ... is the following setup correct?

IN config put:

spamdomains c:\imail\declude\sd.txt
Close. In the global.cfg file you should have a line:

SPAMDOMAINS spamdomainsc:\imail\declude\sd.txt x
10 0

That defines the test named SPAMDOMAINS, and lets Declude JunkMail know
where the file is, and that it should add 10 points to the weight of the
E-mail for E-mail that fails the test.

In sd.txt

sprintpcs.com .sprintip.net
Correct (this line means If the return address of the E-mail contains
'sprintpcs.com', then the reverse DNS entry must contain either
'sprintpcs.com' or '.sprintip.net' in order to pass this test).
