RE: [Declude.JunkMail] Is Tqmcube.com dead???

2008-02-22 Thread David Barker
Hi Shayne,

That may have been because of the DNS Cache being poisoned. The information
that they fixed the issue was from a techie at DNSStuff who I believe spoke
to them to try resolve the issue.

Very interesting. I just picked up on this discussion.

What makes it interesting to me is that I received a DNSstuff RBLalert last
night
that said one of my IPs was listed on TQM-CHINA, TQM-DYNAMIC,
TQM-SOUTHKOREA, and TQM-SPAMTRAP.

First time I've ever gotten an alert since joining a year ago.

Went to www.tqmcube.com and checked; came up clean.

Interesting news, David. And thanks for the tip about Al's blog.

I think fixed is an overstatement.

I just tested 8 IP addresses that were previously listed in January in
the DHCP or SPAMTRAP RBL, plus three longtime Chinese IP addresses in
the PRC, and none of them are listed right now.

I don't expect that the problems posted to the newsgroups, nor the DNS
server timeouts and refusals I saw last night are going to get any
better, so this RBL provider is going to stay out of my global.cfg file.

I see on their own RBL checker web page that only the

When I query their servers for a few test IPs, including

Going back to my logs, the last hits I notice are on January
