Re: [libreoffice-design] Minutes of the Design Hangout: 2017-Mar-23
Hi Papamatti, you are the sifr designer. good to know. I work now on some toolbar stuff but after that I'd like to get an better overview about the different icon sets. So maybe I can help. My goal is to have the different icon sets in the core repo. I can also help with svg stuff. And I'd like to have the icon in 16, 24 and 32px like breeze. The easy hack you solve must have some substance so you can show us you can complete the GSoC task. Did not increase my trust in this actually pretty nice tool. * http://draw.io/ integrates well into google drive (or other cloud solutions) which makes it useful for me, even if it is not a dedicated wireframing tool. * One could reach out to the UXBox people: https://github.com/uxbox/uxbox/ they are actively developing. * LibreOffice Draw: I tried that, and was semi-happy: My main issues were lack of auto-snapping/aligning with other objects [1], no quick duplicate via ctrl+D [2] (there is an elaborate duplicate tool, but no non-elaborate way) and the lack of multicolored shapes for creating nice, pre-made widget shapes [3] Jan [1] https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=100141 [2] https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=100028 [3] https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=103298 -- To unsubscribe e-mail to: design+unsubscr...@global.libreoffice.org Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/design/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted

But before that you should read [1]. Especially "Prove that you want to get involved into LibreOffice" - where it says you should solve at least one non-trivial easy hack. I didn't find any solved easy hacks from you in our repository or in gerrit and you don't have much time left so I suggest you hurry up.
