If implemented, the new Gnome System Monitor needs a default keyboard shortcut for all Ubuntu systems without users having to configure it. [Bug 863834] Re: [regression] Suspend on lid close broken on Oneiric
Hi there, same problem here. I have switchable graphics HP tm2 Intel/ATI graphic cards. Closing the lid worked OK on Natty, just upgraded to Oneric, doesn’t work. When I close the lid just turn the screen off. Now, I don't think is a problem with kernel, drivers, etc. because the function suspends works on both graphic cards if it is done on the menu. But suspend doesn’t work if you close the lid. So it is a problem with the function on this distribution of Ubuntu. [Bug 859723] Re: Nautilus appearance without colour or theme
Same here, irrespective of whether Opera is installed or not. In my case the problem always occurs sometime after login on battery power and sometimes (but less frequently) on AC power. I ran 11.4 before on the same machine, absolutely problem free. I have tried a all the suggested workarounds and none of them works. I could 'live' with the 'appearance issues' but for me the most critical part is that the power indicator stops working when the error kicks in. In turn, it happened on several occasions that while I was running some urgent jobs on my laptop the computer just shut down. [Bug 886689] Re: gnome-panel crashes on startup
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. However, you report is missing a stacktrace. Without that, there will not be enough information for a developer to begin work on this bug. Please enable Apport (see https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Apport#How_to_enable_apport for details), and then trigger the crash. You will be given the opportunity to submit crash data to Launchpad and create a new bug report. If it doesn't happen, open your file manager, navigate to /var/crash directory and open the crash report you wish to submit. [Bug 886805] [NEW] Font size override doesn't work

[Bug 879632] Re: 'quick open' and 'file browser panel' conflict
Looking at gedit(3.2) code, it should have the send_sync function: http://git.gnome.org/browse/gedit/tree/gedit/Gedit.py?h=gnome-3-2 Maybe Gedit.py is not being loaded or something. Does anyone know if there is a separate bug in the gnome project for this? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gedit-plugins in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/879632 Title: 'quick open' and 'file browser panel' conflict To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gedit-plugins/+bug/879632/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 886891] [NEW] Evolution integration with unity app-icon not working
Public bug reported: I'm testing evolution on oneiric to see if I can upgrade from maverick. After the installation I unistalled thunderbird and installed Evolution. Yet now the mail icon in Unity menu bar merely contains the status entries, chat, microblogging, Ubuntu One and a reset entry. I believe when I tested Natty evolution did actually show up. I installed Evolution from the Software Center, and found no other addon for untiy integration, so I suppose it should be there by default or is something missing in the Software-Center configuration?
