[Bug 1738651] [NEW] top right panel in Gnome Metacity Freezes a few minutes after login
Public bug reported: Hello, I've reinstalled Ubuntu 17.10, and the top right panel in Gnome Metacity fails to respond after a minute or so. The left click doesn't work, but the right click does work (although it doesn't fix anything, it only says "About" which is useless). The upper left "Applications" and "Places" still works. I should also add that the time freezes as well. -Dave ** Affects: gnome-panel (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: gnome-17.10 ** Attachment added: "screenshot of failure" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1738651/+attachment/5023817/+files/gnome_failure.png ** Description changed: Hello, I've reinstalled Ubuntu 17.10, and the top right panel in Gnome Metacityn fails to respond after a minute or so. [Bug 1387219] Re: Mouse pointer disappears and cursor stops blinking
Emilien Klein, I did what you did, but this does not solve anything. I get this error too, but perhaps this debug message will help to isolate and solve the problem: con@laptop:~/Documents/Simmons/CPF1409004/Bamfiles$ (gedit:6804): Gdk-ERROR **: The program 'gedit' received an X Window System error. This probably reflects a bug in the program. The error was 'BadLength (poly request too large or internal Xlib length erro'. (Details: serial 8426980 error_code 16 request_code 18 (core protocol) minor_code 0) (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously; that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it. To debug your program, run it with the GDK_SYNCHRONIZE environment variable to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gedit in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1387219 Title: Mouse pointer disappears and cursor stops blinking To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/gtksourceview/+bug/1387219/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 202546] Re: [Hardy] Brasero fails if CUE sheet only specifies filename
Definitely not fixed in Intrepid (brasero version 0.8.2). Hard to believe a later version does not have a previous bugfix. Still trying to edit the cue file properly.
