[Bug 194953] Re: gnome-system-monitor resources graphs unstable on window resize
** Changed in: gnome-system-monitor (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete = Confirmed ** Summary changed: - gnome-system-monitor resources graphs unstable on window resize + gnome-system-monitor resources graphs unstable on window resize with VESA ** Description changed: Binary package hint: gnome-system-monitor I display the resources tab of system monitor, showing the 3 History graphs. When I then resize the window (increasing the size), beyond about 600 pixels in height or beyond about 700 pixels width, the graph backgrounds and scales turn negative, and graph refresh fails to consistently redraw over previously displayed lines. The graph line thickens. When I maximise the system monitor window (screen size is 1620x1050), system monitor displays the same behavior, but also the application freezes - failing to respond to mouse-clicks - changing tabs, etc . [Bug 158129] Re: irc:// links no longer work after update
I have removed my old ~/.mozilla directory, and now xchat has appeared in the launch dialog! I suspect it was a problem with the transfer of profiles from firefox 2 to firefox 3. To answer your questions: - Yes, it happens with firefox 3 while using a profile originally created with firefox 2 - I did not use an irc:// link in Edgy so cannot confirm this is a regression. I can only confirm that the xchat option was missing in Hardy in my upgraded profile. However, with a new profile it has the xchat option listed (albeit with no icon). ** Changed in: firefox-3.0 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided = Low ** Changed in: xchat-gnome (Ubuntu) Status: New = Invalid -- irc:// links no longer work after update https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/158129 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to xchat-gnome in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 241003] [NEW] Double clicking a second playlist doesn't start it playing
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: rhythmbox Double clicking a playlist in the side pane for the first time makes that playlist name bold, and starts playing the songs as expected. Doing this on another playlist while the original is playing is not as straightforward: What should happen: Double clicking another playlist makes its name bold, and start playing a song from that playlist. What actually happens: Double clicking another playlist makes its name bold, but just stops playing the current song. Double clicking on that or another playlist will either play the song in that list that is selected, or if none is selected, will play the original song from the playlist that was stopped. System details: Ubuntu Hardy, rhythmbox 0.11.5-0ubuntu8 ** Affects: rhythmbox (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: likely-dup -- Double clicking a second playlist doesn't start it playing https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/241003 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to rhythmbox in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 130213] Re: rhtmbox doesn't play the next song after first song finished
I just tested it and the issue has been resolved for me! I'm not sure what fixed this. I started up the Hardy release LiveCD (in virtualbox- ose) and verified that the situation still exists there. I am currently using rhythmbox 0.11.5-0ubuntu8. To the other reporters of this bug: Since I have been the only one to say this issue is related to the keyboard media keys, it would be great if you could either confirm the keys are the issue, or that the problem has now been solved. Easy steps to trigger this issue (on a Hardy LiveCD or unpatched install): 1) Open Rhythmbox 2) Edit - Preferences - enable Play Count (not a necessary step, but will easily show the issue) 3) Add at least one song 4) Start playing a song (eg. double click it) 5) Press the 'stop' media key on your keyboard partway through the song (eg. 10 seconds into a 4 minute song) 6) Press the 'play/pause' media key on your keyboard to start playing this song again from the beginning What should happen: The song completes playing, the play count is incremented, and the next song starts playing (according to repeat/shuffle/whatever) What actually happens: The song does gets to the end, but does not complete playing (play count does not increment), and never moves on to the next song. Further detail: Play/pause will press/depress the UI button, but with no actual effect (the song still sits there at the end). Stop will take the song back to the beginning, but playing it again will get it stuck at the end. The only way to resume normal behaviour is with previous, next, or by manually choosing a song. I tried updating rhythmbox in the VM, but it locked up during the install. If others are still experiencing the issue, I can look into it further. Reopening. I just experienced this issue myself. The icon was not in the menu, but the .desktop file(s) existed, and an option was selected in System - Preferences - Main Menu. I unselected and reselected the option, and it immediately appeared in the Internet menu where it was meant to be in the first place. [Bug 174200] Re: Next Song doesn't work with Last.fm
This bug has not been marked as a duplicate of anything, and from my searching, has not been previously reported. Reopening. The Next Song button provided when listening to a last.fm stream does not work. When clicking this button, it simply greys out, but the stream keeps playing. The track can instead be skipped by double clicking the station in the playlist, and pressing the next multimedia button on my keyboard also works. The Ban Song / Love Song buttons do not function either, instead just greying out. This bug has been mentioned in the rhythmbox group on last.fm at http://www.last.fm/group/Rhythmbox/forum/8096/_/385298 Note that this is not Bug #92804 which discusses the behaviour of the Previous / Next buttons on the left. This bug is about the Next Song / Ban Song / Love Song buttons on the right in the last.fm section. ** Changed in: rhythmbox (Ubuntu) Status: Invalid = New -- Next Song doesn't work with Last.fm https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/174200 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to rhythmbox in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 130213] Re: rhtmbox doesn't play the next song after first song finished
I have been experiencing this problem too, and have just worked out the cause (for me at least). While playing a song, if I press the stop button on my Logitech G15 keyboard and then resume playing the song, it will get stuck at the end. Keyboard Shortcuts lists this as the Stop playback function. Pausing does not produce the same effect. -- rhtmbox doesn't play the next song after first song finished https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/130213 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 159531] Re: progressbar theme error
I see what you mean; I get this too when approaching the end of the file (checked in rhythmbox and totem). Confirming for gtk2-engines. [Bug 210313] [NEW] Evince sticks at Loading... on start when compiz enabled
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evince Evince displays the Loading... screen when it starts upon opening a document, and it doesn't show the document unless the window is either minimised and maximised, or unmaximised. This only happens when running compiz; metacity works fine. I'm unsure how common this occurrence is for me yet because my testing keeps triggering bug #189257, causing an immediate resize.
