[Bug 973361] Re: zenity crashed with SIGSEGV in zenity_tree_dialog_response()
I was pointed to this bug after the Ubuntu Customization Kit crashed on 12.04. It crashed after attempting to select the language pack (first selection dialog box) so I believe it is the same bug and am not filing a new bug report. So, correct me if I'm wrong. There is no work around right now? I run into this bug when I run the command: $ sudo alsa reload And I really need to use this command, because the audio on my system is flat out not working. How would I go about doing mounting my gvfs under /tmp? This bug is causing me and at least several others to lose audio from our computers altogether. I would like to know how to implement the workaround for now. Would there be any side effects to mounting the gvfs in the /tmp folder? Thanks. Even if each user has his/her own .gvfs, it can still be mounted as /tmp/gvfs-username! A lot of gnome utilities already do that, so it won't be a big deal. Thank you. I'm pretty sure it is a crash, or something relating to it is not functioning properly, causing me to lose my sound. When I run the command sudo alsa reload, I get this error message: lsof: WARNING: can't stat() fuse.gvfs-fuse-daemon file system /home/zee/.gvfs Output information may be incomplete. Also: $ sudo /usr/lib/gvfs/gvfs-fuse-daemon fuse: missing mountpoint Should I file a bug report? And, if so, how do I do this? I apologize for posting here somewhat out of topic.
