[Bug 306870] Re: Keyboard accessibility options lost at bootup
Well, I'm experiencing this bug again: after a reboot the bounce keys option deactivates itself. I think that is still related to the hibernate/suspend wakeup and reboot sequence, but this time I can't reproduce it easily (I must try several times to force it to happen). -- Keyboard accessibility options lost at bootup https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/306870 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 306870] Re: Keyboard accessibility options lost at bootup
Hi, yes! I've installed it last week and I was testing since then. I thought I saw it happen again one time, but couldn't repro anymore, so, I think is safe to mark it fixed until further notice. -- Keyboard accessibility options lost at bootup https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/306870 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

Sure, as soon I get Jaunty installed I will report in. Can take some time after the release, because I need to wait for a custom kernel. -- Keyboard accessibility options lost at bootup https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/306870 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 306870] Re: Keyboard accessibility options lost at bootup
Thanks for review the report. About the easy steps, sorry but as I said, still can't put my finger on anything that can actually trigger the bug. I just activate the bounce keys option, and sometimes after a reboot is no longer active. The computer is a laptop, so perhaps is related to the absence of a PS/2 keyboard. -- Keyboard accessibility options lost at bootup https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/306870 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 306870] [NEW] Keyboard accessibility options lost at bootup
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-control-center I'm using the keyboard accessibility option called bounce keys. I've found that some times (not always) this option becomes disabled at startup, but keeps the value I settled. Sometimes it get a total reset of the option. I still can put my finger on what is causing this. Seems random, but perhaps is related to those actions: - Use of suspend or hibernate or suspend + hibernate - Edit a system file: xorg.conf or laptop-mode.conf are two of the files I was editing last days. Please note that the problem was there BEFORE activation of the laptop-mode. Thanks, I will do that. Is not a bug really but a proposal, but I think that is important to start fixing those little glitches to improve the overall user experience. [Bug 296564] [NEW] Set a minimum size for the side pane to avoid size = 0
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: nautilus After a video driver crash, I was forced to recover (via gconf) my Nautilu's s side pane that get locked at a 0px width. That's not an unusual problem and to let a 0px panel exists seems not useful at all. Maybe could be a good idea to avoid the side pane to go below a minimum size, fixed or proportional to the current theme.
