Hi all,

in my opinion, Conglomerate is the best XML editor ever. but the last release
was five years ago. In the
meantime, Conglomerate was able to keep its users alive, but the application
itself seems to rest in
peace...A lot of new or completed translations have arrived. The user manual
can now be handled by the
gnome-doc-utils, and we have some bugfixes, too.

Last year I wrote to the maintainer Geert Stappers to find out more about what
he thinks about a release. He
answered that he doesn't see any problems, unless the changes in Git are only
translations and bugfixes which
doesn't affect the libraries. But he hasn't really much time left to pick up
the development again. In fact,
we need a new maintainer to wake up the development. Who would be able and
willing to take this task over?
Otherwise, a lot of work of our translators would be done just for the trash.

Cheers,
Mario
