[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1095755] Re: fglrx-installer fails to build with 3.8 kernels

2013-01-21 Thread Vi0L0
@Robert Hooker: surelly it's easy to copy-paste someone's patch, isn't
it?

Don't get me wrong here - i don't mind if you will use this patch here on
ubuntu or wherever you like, feel free.
I don't mind if i won't be noted as a creator of this patch, no.

There should be some justice in this world, though and thanks should not
go to a copy-paster (i won't call you a thief, Robert, i still believe
that your intences were good).

There was also one important thing when i was releasing this patch *[1], and
which was not mentioned:
I didn't test it well, i had no time for testing. Now i know it's pretty fine
though i never get confirmation on how good it's working on notebooks in
example.

Good Luck
Vi0L0

[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1095755] Re: fglrx-installer fails to build with 3.8 kernels

2013-01-21 Thread Vi0L0
Thanks for clarification.
It's not about this trivial 3-line patch nor that it's mine - it's just that i
saw those situations when one is taking credits for another too many times, and
if i can i'm always trying to clarify such things.
I still don't see how could this be your fault, Alberto. Anyhow it's clear now
and i'm happy because of that.

Good luck :)
