JMeter TLP - draft resolution and first chair
I've created a draft TLP resolution for JMeter here, intent being to submit in time for the October board meeting: http://wiki.apache.org/jakarta/TLPJMeter Folks on initial PMC include those who voted on latest release (some arbitrary metric to get started) plus those involved in recent discussions on topic, such as Hen and me. Please feel free to edit the above page directly to add/remove entries. Pending question - who to list as Chair? sebb - Given your sustained work on JMeter, I think you should do it. Its not much overhead, take the plunge, rest of us will write the reports if needed :-) -Rahul - To unsubscribe, e-mail: dev-unsubscr...@jakarta.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: dev-h...@jakarta.apache.org
Re: JMeter OS tested

JMeter has been tested and works under: * Unix (Solaris, Linux, etc) * Windows (98, NT, XP, etc) Win98 and NT should be dropped. * OpenVMS Alpha 7.3+ I've not tried it on OpenVMS for a while; I expect it still works, but I don't have access to a system on which I can try the GUI. I would like update the OS list. Please can you confirm if JMeter works on these platforms (with JVM 1.5+) (for me, JMeter works with Linux, Win XP, Win 2003) * Windows Vista * Windows 7 * Windows Server 2008 * Mac OS X OpenVMS 7.3 still a supported platform? FreeBSD, NetBSD or OpenBSD? JMeter with appropriate JVM works? AIX (IBM JVM)? HP-UX (HP JVM) ? Solaris? MVS? etc? Thanks for your feedback. I think we should just drop the OS list; just because we have not tested it does not mean it won't work. DO NOT REPLY [Bug 51840] JMS : Cache of InitialContext has some issues
Hello, I closed bug as fixed, don't know if I had to do it or it's up to you. Thank you Regards Philippe On Monday, September 19, 2011, bugzi...@apache.org wrote: https://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=51840 --- Comment #7 from Sebb s...@apache.org 2011-09-19 00:58:45 UTC --- Thanks for finding the bug and the patch. I made two changes to InitialContextFactory.java: * when the context is added to the map using putIfAbsent, this might return an existing context, in which case we need to return that, rather than the one we just created, or the Map does no correspond with what we have issued. * simplified the close method - no need to iterate over the map entries when we only want the values.
