And that last part is crucial. Before we head down that path, we need
to ensure that we have at least 2 PMC members who are willing to
maintain such a thing over the long term. Infra may provide the
environment, but only if we're prepared to manage it over its
 lifetime.

What kind of support is needed from our side ?

You should check with infra@ directly for a definitive answer, but
typically we'd need to deal with anything Java- or app-related,
including restarting after a crash, diagnosing issues, addressing
security issues, container upgrades, etc.

Ok, thanks Martin! If so I can do it.

@Johannes
are you going to talk to @infra about or should I try ?

Re: [struts-dev] Re: Abstract layer to access file system

2012-06-12 Thread Łukasz Lenart
I bit stack with this ...

What is the chance that the users will use that custom mechanism ? Is
it worth to implement something that can be a bit complicated to use ?

Anyway, I'm thinking about adding additional method to FileManager
interface like boolean isInternal() to mark which implementations are
provided by S2 and used them in second step, trying first lookup for
user specific FM (isInternal() returns false). Thus allows to override
existing implementations by users. WDYT ?

From the plugin page (https://cwiki.apache.org/S2PLUGINS/home.html), if I
click on an announcement blog post and then click edit, it generates an
error.  I wanted to edit an announcement, but it doesn't seem possible for
 me.

Not a major issue to me, so no worries if it doesn't get addressed.

I got the same and for sure I have a permission to do that ;-) I think
you must register an issue with Atlassian and point them to the below
url [1] as an example. Or we can try request INFRA to upgrade
Confluence.
