pretty confusing, though, so please check. It seems to want to do a

JIRA Wiki syntax

2011-06-27 Thread Maurizio Cucchiara
Hi everybody,
I've realized that the JIRA instance of Struts project allows only
comments in plain text format.
On the contrary the OGNL instance is able to handle comments in wiki format.
Looking the footer, it looks like is the same JIRA instance
(v4.3.4#620-r15266), so I'm wondering why we can't use wiki syntax
(maybe it's just a simple matter of configuration).

 Hi Dave,
do you mean JIRA admin (INFRA team) or JIRA project (Struts) admin?

Yep, the renderer is configurable; I think you need to be a JIRA admin to
 do
it, but don't recall. (I actually brought this up several years ago,
 IIRC; I
 like having markup available.)

 Hi everybody,
I've realized that the JIRA instance of Struts project allows only
 comments in plain text format.
On the contrary the OGNL instance is able to handle comments in wiki
 format.
Looking the footer, it looks like is the same JIRA instance
(v4.3.4#620-r15266), so I'm wondering why we can't use wiki syntax
(maybe it's just a simple matter of configuration).
