Im rajith, I finally decided to build the latest OpenOffice source. So changed to OO2.0. I met all the requirements specified in the OpenOffice website.
Im using Windows XP, Visual Studio.NET 2003, TCSH
at first i ran the configure script with --enable-build-mozilla
it created winenv.set , dmake and started building the source
Then in Moz i got an error.

i searched the issue tracker but couldnt find any.
so i again ran the configure script --disable-mozilla
dmake started building the source
and after 1 1/2 hrs another error occured in setup_native
