Hi Ivo, Pros: -Checkout faster as the translation module is not part of the OpenOffice2 alias -Translations are easy to update / change by replacing the corresponding sdf file in the translation module -It is possible to easy cvs diff between milestones/cws/masterworkspace tags -Localisations are independend / degenerated from the source code tree add: - developers can actually grep for resource identifiers, again Currently, you're slain by tons of useless occurences in the localize.sdf files, which is a pain in the neck for daily work. But yes, we have to type it - I had to do this today as well when looking for usage of some string.
