I would like to develop a WTLS setup using kannel. Do you know if anyone has tried it? you both guys should first of all dig into the mailing list archive. Nick has send some mails about where he stopped with development of the WTLS layer in Kannel. I guess he's getting pi**ed when we ask him to explain it once more ;) Beware that you should have extended experience with SSL and TLS related stuff. The word 'openssl' should make your eyes glue, in order to get your hands on this. As a base you can use the kwtls patch that is still available at http://www.kannel.org/download/wtls/kwtls-1.0.3.tar.gz and try to implement the still missing things into Kannel's own WTLS stack. I would like too, I think I can help if it is possible!, and I want to catch the ip and send it to any phone as a parameter, for example the device is www.mydefaulthomepage?id=ip, I need it to my application, I'm trying to do that. about kannel wtls core dump
Dear All: I use red hat 8.0, with openssl 0.9.7 and kannel 1.2.1 stable to setup a box which surpport wtls. I got a core dump message when I use nokia mobile internet toolkit 3.1 simulator to view a wml page via wtls in lan. After using gdb to trace where is the core dump source. I find wtls_event_handle() may be the one. Could any one help me or show me how to indetify the bug? the following is the log from wapbox. BTW, may be my configuration is wrong. Usually patches are applied with the unix patch command. Example if your patch is called wtls_patch.diff: patch -p0 wtls_patch.diff In case it asks which file to patch, either enter the path of the file. Hi all! Please Does anybody know how I can get ports 9202 and 9203 up with the kannel? Does anybody already has the kannel 1.2 working well with this ports (supporting WTLS)? Pleace help me! Hi! Thanks all for your feedbacks. I have another question now. I just installed the kannel gateway 1.2.0 with the OPTIONS -with-wtls=openssl and --with-ssl.
