In later versions,we were able to find under Appearance on systems
settings,the Application Titles and Introduction where we would describe
our system.

Where can i find these two areas in DHIS 2.30?

They seem not to be under General Settings.

Can you go to the program and right click.Select sharing settings.You can
disable the public users and then add the user groups you want to access
the program.Make sure the settings are set on view and edit and capture
data.

[Dhis2-devs] DIMENSIONS NOT WORKING ON ATTRIBUTE

I have a program where a TEI is either accessing services from outreach or
static facility.I created the the category combination as an attribute and
a dimension.

Then i created a program indicator which is working fine.But when i decide
to add the dimensions,no RESULT!

Does this mean Tracker Capture does not work with such?

[Dhis2-devs] UNABLE TO REOPEN A COMPLETED TEI

Hi All,

I have some TEI whose Tracker program was completed.Whenever i try to
reopen the TEI i get this error:

Failed to update the enrollment in the server
An error occurred, please check import summary.





Has anyone faced this before? I am using 2.29 version

I am using DHIS2 2.29 latest build and i was trying to set up a data set
but i am unable to because the system keeps telling me 'Could not save data
set".

Anyone ever met this scenerio.

Hey Markus,

This makes alot of sense though.

However,my issue is when i want to download the entire list of TEI's into
an excel or CV for other analysis outside DHIS2,i can not do so.Initially i
would simply List All and download the list of TEI's.

If there is a way i can do that,then thats fine.

Actually when i select an OU i am able to see the TEI's but to display all
TEI's across all OU's like we used to in versions 2.28 below where we could
select 'List All' and all TEI's could be displayed,i dont see it in 2.29.

Any ideas

[Dhis2-devs] How to Edit the date of enrollment/Listing TEI's in 2.29

[Stanley Kalyati]

I am using two instances,2.27 and 2.29 and i want to know how to edit the
enrollment  date in my programs.Is there a way?

Secondly,with versions below 2.27,one would easily list all TEI's across
and see how many have been enrolled.But with 2.29,i can not see where i can
easily extract that data once i open the Tracker capture.

[Dhis2-devs] Dimension restrictions for data analytics

Dear All,

Has anyone met this scenerio?


I noticed some accounts in my instance has some dimensions restricted for
data analysis.Whenever i move the dimensions to the
Available dimension restrictions for data analytics,when i edit that
account again i find the dimensions have gone back to  Selected dimension
restrictions for data analytics.

How can i have the restricted dimensions stay intact to the available
dimension side? Any ideas?

[Dhis2-devs] VALUES NOT SHOWING IN PIVOT TABLES

I have two instances and they were working properly until one after the
other stopped showing values after i run analytics and cleared cache.

Both instances are running on 2.27 Build revision: dbacc42  and Build
revision:e33b34d

We have not had any upgrades lately and all was well until this morning
when i noticed i can not see my graphs with data on the dashboard.

Anyone with an idea?

I have cleared my cache completely but nothing.I even re-installed Google
chrome and also tried installing Firefox hoping it was something with my
browser and run maintenance and also analytics but to no avail.

I have tried using different computers within our organization but the same
result,no data is showing.But when I run event reports,I see plenty of data
there.

Could this be the version I am using maybe? (2.27)

I have never been this confused with DHIS2 since I started using it 7yrs
ago.

Visualizer.However when I run Events reports,data is present.But when I run
program indicators or aggregate indicators,bo data is displayed.

However from our hosting company,they are able to see data and able to run
pivot and visualizer without any problem.

Has anyone experienced this before? If so any idea as to why this is so?

I am failing to delete and an organisation unit.

I am getting this error:  ERROR: update or delete on table
"organisationunit" violates foreign key constraint

I have tried to check if there is some data attached but i cant seem to
find any.

Is there a web api command that i can use either at the server end of UI
within the system?

06:25 but every program indicator is failing to return values and yet i
have records under tracker capture.What could be the problem?

tracked entities in tracker.

I am using DHIS2 2.27 and one of the data element in our Tracker is
assigned as Age.When we enter date of birth,it is able to calculate the
client age.But when i run event reports,that age section turns into date of
birth.I nolonger see the actual Age of the client like i see when am
registering the client.

How do i go about getting the actual age in my reports?

Hi Gerald,

I have run analytics,i have also gone to data admin and also cleared catch
but no results.

Only when i add a category combination to the data set,that is when i am
able to see data when i run pivot or data visualizer.

I cant understand

Hi All,

I posted something similar sometime two weeks ago.

I have data elements whose value type is number and aggregation type is
Sum.I created a data set and assigned it to the Organisation unit.

I captured data and run analytics.When i run the pivot tables,no data
values.

However,when i add a Category Combination which is an attribute to the data
set,enter data and run pivot tables,data is there.

I am confused.

Anyone with an idea?

[Dhis2-devs] No Data Values

Hi all,

I have an instance that was working properly until today when I noticed
that pivot tables and visualizer are saying no data values on some
forms.Yet there is data captured and yesterday I was able to see
data.Another form however i am able to see data when I run pivot tables.

When I run report rate summary,the instance is able to show that I have
indeed completed the data sets.

I am using 2.6 version.

What could be the problem? Please assist

Yes I did.Funny enough when I add a category combination to the data set as
an attribute and then enter data,I am.able to see the data in the pivot

I have created everything right but i cant seem to know where i am missing
it.One of the data set is able to display data in the pivot tables but
others are not able to though data is there on the form.

Has anyone faced such an issue and how did you deal with it.

Hi David,

How about the script for collapsing sections?

For example you have a form with 4 sections on HTS,TB,Family Planning and
STI.Instead for the whole tool to appear just like that but you want to be
able to collapse and expand sections as one enters data.

Can anyone take me through how my tracker capture can automatically
generate Unique IDs with a specific algorithm such as first two letters of
the first name, first two letters of the surname, last two digits of the
year of birth and area code.

Has anyone done this successfully?  Or has anyone used another software to
generate this kind of UIC.

We are using DHIS2 2.26 build aaae441 Build date:2017-07-06 04:05

As a super user i am able to populate the dashboard but other users can not.

I have looked at the roles and authorities but i am not sure what role or
authority i am missing that i need to allocate the other users to do the
same.

Anyone with a quick answer?

For me I simply designed the data entry form instead of using the
default.This has worked for me.

However,surprisingly,when using the default form on Android,the options are
visible.

Alot to learn I guess.

to disable some stages in certain OUs and allowing them to enable when at
certain OUs.

Thanks Knut but we are using Unique identifiers and we need to track these
individuals at all stages.Ofcourse right now it is going on well but what
we have noticed is that due to so many files,data clerks have ended up
capturing clinical data under an OU that does not offer such services.As we
wanted to limit these errors by enabling the system to lock forms on
certain OUs and open them on certain OUs.

between period.i.e

Finding all patients that is negative and with more than 120 days since the
last service can be done in 2.26 and later with the following program
indicator:
Analytic type: Enrollment
Aggreagation operator: Count
Expression: V{tei_count}
Filter: #{DATA ELEMENT FOR DIAGNOSIS} == 'Negative' and
d2:daysBetween(V{event_date}, V{current_date}) > 120

However,how can i evaluate or add a condition of all those tested
"negative" 120 days ago but have tested "positive'' within 120 days after
the first HIV test?

Will it look like this?

Analytic type: Enrollment
Aggreagation operator: Count
Expression: V{tei_count}
Filter: (#{DATA ELEMENT FOR DIAGNOSIS} == 'Negative' and
d2:daysBetween(V{event_date}, V{current_date}) > 120) and (#{DATA ELEMENT
FOR DIAGNOSIS} == 'Positive' and d2:daysBetween(V{event_date},
V{current_date})<120)

John and Colleagues,

I have been able to find a way to have the scorecard on the dashboard.I
have practised with the Tanzania link on scorecard.However when i try with
my instance,the scorecard is failing to load on the dashboard.It keeps
saying the "Getting the scarecard ready" and this goes on and on.

Should i uninstall and re-install or what must i do.

I tried clearing the cache but nothing.

However i am able to create the score cards without problems.

dashboard.

However,i have no clue as to how i should bring my scorecard on the
dashboard because there is no where or button that talks about saving my
work like we do with pivot tables or visualizer.

How do i save my work and have it presented on the dashboard?

[Dhis2-devs] UNABLE TO AGGREGATE TO DISTRICT LEVEL

I am using DHIS2 2.26.I developed an aggregate tool whose lowest level of
data entry is the Health Facility.

I run analytics but when i run Pivot tables,the results is a blank table at
other levels but when i select at health facility level the data is present.

Where could i have gone wrong?

When i create two indicator I.e Clients already positive and another one
Clients tested positive.I want these two indicators added...A+B=C
