Jeff-

I would look at the network between the browser and the server. Sean
mentioned a load balancer but look for any sort of new caching or network
infrastructure in place. If a cache is misbehaving and not passing along
cookies that could be a problem. Could be caching a null CFID/CFTOKEN pair.
Could be a new proxy scanning network traffic on the network or locally on
end user's machines.

It's interesting that you say 2/3 of the content appears. This smells
almost like you are load balanced over 3 servers and one is misconfigured.
That's a clue too.

If it's been running fine for a year and you didn't change the app, maybe
load just increased to a point where the load balancer finally decided to
send some traffic to another different server in the cluster? Maybe that
server is configured to use JSessions instead of CFID/CFTOKEN? Maybe the
underlying JEE server was changed?

I don't know if any of these ideas lead to something, just suggesting
things to consider in case they lead you someplace.

Sean,

There are 2 servers but one isn't really being used. They are trying to
phase this app out and have migrated most customers but not all. However,
this problem exists on both servers.

As for the cflocation and traffic I have asked the same questions but yet
to get a response. In the built in CF debug output that you turn on/off in
CF Admin I did notice that there was a long page load time so I was also
thinking that there may be a cflock issue that's happening.

As far as what I've been told it happens exactly at the same time every day
since Sunday.

Is there a loadhandler in the mix? 8 to 4 is heavy corporate use - maybe
the site has grown in traffic over time, and now during peak hours it's
getting shifted over to another box with slightly different code? Or the
session info isn't getting passed over along with the http request? Is
there a CFLocation in the process someplace? That can screw up a
