[Dspace-tech] One more Handle question

2008-10-02 Thread Jason Fowler
Pardon my ignorance, but the documentation about how to install the Handle
prefix seems a bit unclear. Am I right in thinking that I simply need to change
the default handle prefix in [dspace-source]/dspace/config/dspace.cfg to the
one that I received from the CNRI Handle site and then run ant update ?

I think that's correct, but I just want to make sure.

JAson,

As long as you've completed the other steps to register/configure your
handle service, then all that is left to do is to configure dspace.cfg
to have your handle prefix as you have suggested.

I would do it in [dspace-source]/dspace/config/dspace.cfg and then run
the whole maven package; cd target/dspace...; ant init_configs; to
get your configuration updated (we're working on getting that last
step not so convoluted).
