[Dspace-tech] sorting while browsing

2009-07-29 Thread Jochen Lienhard
Hi,

when I browse in the catagory author, choose one author and have a look
to his publications,
then theses publications are usually sorted by title.
Can I change this - by default - to 'sorted by date'?

I thought I must add this to the config, but it does not work.
webui.itemlist.browse.author.sort.dateissued.columns =
dc.date.issued(date), dc.title, dc.contributor.*

Any ideas, what I did wrong?

Greetings

Jochen

[Dspace-tech] Changing labels per collection

2009-07-29 Thread Blanco, Jose
Is there a way with JSP version 1.5.1 to change the labels in the item page,
per collection.

For example, for a particular collection, instead of using Title for
dc:title.none, use Name ( just for this collection ).

Thanks!

Re: [Dspace-tech] Changing labels per collection

2009-07-29 Thread Blanco, Jose
Nevermind I found out how.

FYI. In the Messages.properties file, add entries like this:

metadata.style.dc.title   = Site Name

Where style is the style defined in the dspace.cfg file.

[Dspace-tech] oai feed question

2009-07-29 Thread Susan Teague Rector
Hi folks,

This may be a really obvious question (so please excuse if it is! :)
...
but for some reason when I do a ListRecords on our repository I only get
a subset of records unless I use the from optional parameter
For example, this
http://digarchive.library.vcu.edu/dspace-oai/request?verb=ListRecordsmetadataPrefix=oai_dc
only returns records from one of our sets
(http://digarchive.library.vcu.edu/dspace-oai/request?verb=ListSets) not
the other
If I use the from parameter, it looks like it works:
http://digarchive.library.vcu.edu/dspace-oai/request?verb=ListSets and
pulls records back from the other set.
I've also tried to specify the set in the oai call to no avail.

Has anyone else come across something like this with Dspace OAI?

Thanks for any insight - it's probably something minor that I'm missing...

Cheers,
Susan
