[Dspace-tech] any plans about RDA metadata
Hi, do you know RDA? http://www.rdaonline.org/ We detected it and discuss now, if it could be an alternative metdata set for DSpace. So ... are there any plans about RDA and DSpace? Re: [Dspace-tech] Missing new task notification
Hello Karo, the notification is disabled per default (maybe it should be made configurable). Take a look at org.dspace.app.itemimport.ItemImport if (useWorkflow) { // don't process handle file // start up a workflow if (!isTest) { WorkflowManager.startWithoutNotify(c, wi); // send ID to the mapfile mapOutput = itemname + + myitem.getID(); } } You can use WorkflowManager.start(c, wi); instead. Hope that helps Claudia Jürgen Karo Salminen schrieb: Hi, I'm running DSpace 1.5.2 (now) smoothly except for one problem. Re: [Dspace-tech] RSS
Hi Zoloo, I'm using xmlui, 1.5.2, but doesn't shown rss link in display. I had configured in dspace.cfg , Rss feed = true The xmlui doesn't currently show RSS icons - but the RSS links are embedded in the page metadata. If you are using a browser such as FireFox, you'll find that an RSS icon appears in the address bar because it will recognise the existence of the feeds. If you look in the source, you should see lines such as: link type=application/rss+xml rel=alternate href=/xmlui/feed/rss_1.0/site / link type=application/rss+xml rel=alternate href=/xmlui/feed/rss_2.0/site / Thanks, Stuart Lewis IT Innovations Analyst and Developer Te Tumu Herenga The University of Auckland Library Auckland Mail Centre, Private Bag 92019, Auckland 1142, New Zealand Ph: 64 9 373-7599 x81928 http://www.library.auckland.ac.nz/ -- Let Crystal Reports handle the reporting - Free Crystal Reports 2008 30-Day trial.
