Re: [Dspace-tech] DS-505
Hi Kevin, it would be best to ask this directly in the issue's comments. Your question may be easily overlooked here. Re: [Dspace-tech] RUN DSPACE INDEX-INITOR INDEX-UPDATE
Hi Awanish This is more looks like JRE bug rather than Dspace. I found few docs on the internet mentioning crash of Lucene on JDK 7. Download JDK 7u2 release. This should solve the issue. Please refer https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=353740 http://adtmag.com/articles/2011/08/01/java-7-crashing.aspx for more details. Re: [Dspace-tech] How to expand DSpace metadata into PDF file preferences?
Hello Rodrigo. Andrea Schweer wrote some time ago a curation task that did the reverse task, extract Pdf metadata and populate the Dspace metadata fields. https://github.com/lconz-irr/Curation-Tasks/blob/master/src/main/java/nz/ac/lconz/irr/curate/task/ExtractPdfMetadata.java probably its a good starting point for the task you are looking for (Although Dspace 1.6 doesnt support curation tasks ..I think...) regards Emilio El 21/02/2013 20:14, Calloni, Rodrigo escribi: Hello We are using DSpace 1.6.2 XMLUI. After submitting several files to our DSpace we found out that the metadata of the DSpace item is not expanded into the PDF preferences. Is it possible via a plugin/API to expand the DSpace metadata into these PDF preferences (see attached file for the Preference screen where Title, Author, Subject, Keywords are available)? [Dspace-tech] DSpace 3.1 XMLUI all the URLs not clickable
Hello, I am getting DSpace 3.1 installed in local machine, and imported a few items. In /jspui/ everything is fine, and I can view full item record, and I can download the pdf through view/open. But in /xmlui/ interface, all the URLs are not clickable. Any suggestions? Thanks, -- Everyone hates slow websites. So do we.
