[Dspace-tech] Some changes to messages.xml don't show up

2014-09-05 Thread Magnus Norberg
Hi!

Some changes that I have made to messages.xml don't show up on the XMLUI web
page. Why not? I've tried clearing cache and restarted tomcat

Re: [Dspace-tech] DSpace Request Copy Add-on

2014-09-05 Thread Adan Roman

Hi Lewatle

The pull request of the version we developped is at
https://github.com/DSpace/DSpace/pull/260 . To get the patch add
.patch to the url. Unfortunately I lost my original repository branch.
Subsequently was modified and added some features, it can be found at
https://github.com/DSpace/DSpace/pull/343 . But I don't know the dspace
version where it works.

regards
Adán

Dear Adan,

Please grant me direct access to 3.1 version of the addon in git, I
would like to run it on test server, the dspace version running on it
is 3.2

Once again thanks to you Emilio.

Regards,

Lewatle

2014-09-05 Thread Peter Dietz
Hi Magnus,

It's possible that the key your looking for could be in another messages.xml
dspace-xmlui/src/main/webapp/i18n/messages.xml
dspace-xmlui/src/main/resources/aspects/Discovery/i18n/messages.xml
dspace-xmlui/src/main/resources/aspects/SwordClient/i18n/messages.xml
dspace-xmlui/src/main/resources/aspects/XMLWorkflow/i18n/messages.xml

Also, if you have default locale set, you might have to edit
messages_se.xml and/or messages.xml

Another thing that you could clean would be tomcat's work directory, and
then restart tomcat again.

rm -Rf [tomcat-home]/work/Catalina/localhost/xmlui/*

Yes, all pages -- do note however, this is not out-of-the-box Mirage2, I
have altered it considerably. But I don't think I have done anything that
should change the javascript in any way...

[Dspace-tech] dspace 3.2 oai Identify description

Hello,

I am trying to modify the display of the OAI-PMH Identify request by editing
the /[dspace-home]/config/crosswalks/oai/description.xml file (this file was
added as a fix in 3.2/4.0).
I have adding the required text and have restarted the tomcat server but the

As stated in the header, dsapce 3.2.

[Dspace-tech] Good practice to translate every messages.xml files

2014-09-05 Thread Francois Charbonnier

Hello,

I'm using DSpace 4.1 and I'm trying to figure out where I should copy
every messages.xml to translate them.

I found 4 different messages.xml files.

 * dspace-xmlui/src/main/webapp/i18n/messages.xml
 * dspace-xmlui/src/main/resources/aspects/Discovery/i18n/messages.xml
 * dspace-xmlui/src/main/resources/aspects/SwordClient/i18n/messages.xml
 * dspace-xmlui/src/main/resources/aspects/XMLWorkflow/i18n/messages.xml

Documentation says dspace-xmlui/src/main/webapp/i18n/messages.xml
should be edited in dspace/modules/xmlui/src/main/webapp/i18n/ directory.

What about the other three? Should I change the name and translate them
in their directory? Or is there a recommended directory where I should
copy them?

Thanks for your support.
