[Dspace-tech] Lucene Index Problem

2014-11-26 Thread Geoconda Toledo
Hello folks!
I need some help with lucene index. We are working with Dspace 3.1 and
xmlui.
We are having problem with browse index. The major part of our repository
is in Spanish, so, once indexed it , we see that the order of the words
that have accent or diacritics isn't the correct.
For example.
-If we search :Pérez
Our results show only the authors that their last name is Pérez.The index
doesn't sort alphabetically.
-If we search Perez(without tilde)
Our repository show the authors that their last name is Perez.It display
at the middle of the other authors whose last names start with P

It display like this:

Palencia,Rodrigo
Paz, Juan
Pereira, Ana
Perez, Juan
Perez, Maria
Pino, Nuria
Poveda, Isabel
Puente, Sandra
*Pérez, Francisco*
*Pérez, Daniel*
Ramos, Antonio

We want that it display like this.(regardless of accent)

Palencia,Rodrigo
Paz, Juan
Pereira, Ana
Perez, Juan
Perez, Maria
*Pérez, Francisco*
*Pérez, Daniel*
Pino, Nuria
Poveda, Isabel
Puente, Sandra
Ramos, Antonio

What do you do to solve this problem?

Thanks.

[Dspace-tech] Error with an administrator user

2014-11-11 Thread Geoconda Toledo
Hi to all!
I need help with something special.
We are using Dspace 3.1 XMLUI and our DBMS is postgresql
In our repository, we have some administrators and one person of them has a
problem. When she login in the repository the browse and search don't work
and she can't see the last items sent (discovery).
Initially, we thought that it could be the permissions of this
administrator, but we have seen that it is OK. There isn't error with this.
There are someone that can help me?
Thank you so much.

Re: [Dspace-tech] Customize Index Browse

2014-06-09 Thread Geoconda Toledo
Hilton,
I followed the steps for configuring SOLR Discovery and adapted it to our
repository. It worked correctly to add the new index browse.
But now, I wonder if it is possible to hide the index when you are in a
collection page where this index is not necessary. I don't know if this
could be done.

Thank you so much.

Re: [Dspace-tech] How to set property target=_blank into item-view.xsl

2014-03-31 Thread Geoconda Toledo
Hi Bhavesh,
Today, I have had the same question about set proporty target=_blank
with our repository and I found this solution that for me worked.
Taking your code, after close the xsl: attribute name =href that start
in the 3rd line you should introduce this lines
xsl:attribute name=target
 xsl:text_blank/xsl:text
 /xsl:attribute

Well, the code would be this:

*div class=thumbnail-wrapper*
 *a class=image-link*
 *xsl:attribute name=href*

 * !-- HREF [ START ] --*
 * xsl:if test=@MIMETYPE = 'video/mp4' or @MIMETYPE = 'video/x-flv' *
 *
 i18n:text

 http://192.168.251.220/irplayer/play.php?vLink=http://192.168.251.99:8080
/i18n:
text
 *
 * xsl:value-of select=mets:FLocat[@LOCTYPE='URL']/@xlink:href/*
 * /xsl:if *
 * !-- HREF [ END ] --*

 * xsl:if test=@MIMETYPE != 'video/mp4' *
 * xsl:value-of select=mets:FLocat[@LOCTYPE='URL']/@xlink:href/*
 * /xsl:if *

 */xsl:attribute*

*xsl:attribute name=target
xsl:text_blank/xsl:text /xsl:attribute*

 * xsl:choose  *

 * xsl:when test=$context/mets:fileSec/mets:fileGrp[@USE='THUMBNAIL']/*
 *mets:file[@GROUPID=current()/@GROUPID] *
 *img alt=Thumbnail*
 *xsl:attribute name=src*
 *xsl:value-of
 select=$context/mets:fileSec/mets:fileGrp[@USE='THUMBNAIL']/ *
 *

mets:file[@GROUPID=current()/@GROUPID]/mets:FLocat[@LOCTYPE='URL']/@xlink:href/*
 */xsl:attribute*
 */img *
 */xsl:when*

I hope it works for you.
Regards
Geoconda.

Re: [Dspace-tech] Metadata-Import Question

2014-01-14 Thread Geoconda Toledo
Helix,
Thank you for your answer.
The command line returned an error, but the error message didn't specify
what went wrong in the execution
However, my error was that I didn't put + in the id column.
Thank you so much.

  Should I write in the command line the collection handle or the
 collection
  id?

 Hi Geoconda,

 what exactly does it mean that the import isn't carried out? Does the
 command line return any error? When the import is successful, it
 should report which new items were created and their new IDs and
 handles.

 What does a row in your CSV file look like? Do you have a + in the
 id column to create new items? Did you specify the correct
 collection handle (prefix/suffix) in the handle column?

[Dspace-tech] Add references in the sidebar navigation

2013-07-31 Thread Geoconda Toledo
Hi All,
I try to add references in the sidebar navigation, in especial, in the
browse with All of our repository. In this list we can see
CommunitiesCollections, Authors, Titles, Subjects and Type. I want to add
a new reference but i cant find a file in the directory that contains this
information. Initially, I thought that it could be in the navigation.xsl or
in the page-structure.xsl, but not.
Someone has been able to change the browse?
could tell me where i can find this list?

We have DSpace 3.1 and XMLUI.
Thank you.
