[Dspace-tech] DSpace mobile theme
Hi all, Our 'first' mobile theme is now officially up and running on a DSpace 1.6 instance. With the advise/help of two OhioLINK developers, the current implementation relies on a second domain name instead of a separate webapp. As far as I know, the tweak was basically a few lines of code in the xmlui/themes/themes.xmap file -a documentation describing the work and implementation is coming up soon. [Dspace-tech] Mobile interface for DSpace
Hi all, This summer, I'm interested in working on a 'basic' mobile prototype for DSpace and got two questions: 1. is anyone working on a mobile interface already? -I've seen some questions in the list, but so far no examples. 2. is there a way to have 2 themes (regular and mobile) working concurrently for the same instance? -the current XMLUI setup seems to only allow one theme at a time. [Dspace-tech] Disable Register link in XMLUI
Hello DSpacers, Using XMLUI and DSpace 1.6, in the “ds-options” sidebar, the My Account div includes two links by default: a) Login and b) Register. I’d like to disable the Register link –removing or commenting the HTML code will work too, but I cannot find the file where that’s generated ... any thoughts/suggestions? Thanks in advance! [Dspace-tech] searching by communities/collections
Hi DSpace list, I need to create a static page with a search box that should search only selected communities/collections OR use the default search box in the front page but excluding some communities in the results. If anyone had a solution (trick) for this, please let me know.
