Hi: Problem with accents When i put en the dc.subject field of an item: Navegación When i list by subjets i see: Navegaci�http://localhost:8180/dspace/items-by-subject?subject=Navegaci%EF%BF%BD ¿Could it be Oracle? Hi, I had the same problem, you should try what Lucía said, if that doesn't work you can make a search and replace with any editor like this: á -- aacute; é -- eacute; í -- iacute; ó -- oacute; ú -- uacute; ñ -- ntilde; Maybe this is not the right thing to do, but is the only thing that worked for me. references: http://www.htmlhelp.com/reference/html40/entities/latin1.html good luck Juan Pablo Garbarino Luis Jose, maybe you must convert your file from iso to utf8... The content you store in DSpace shouldn't be specific to any particular presentation (in this case HTML).
