can you indicate how large large is in your context? are you talking
several MB's, hundreds of MB's or Gigabytes ?
Secondly, what kind of support would you require ? Archiving offering
downloading, or are you looking at implementing a streaming solution ?
In general, I wouldn't recommend using the standard submission workflow for
files over 50MB, unless the server is located in your local LAN. Once
ingested in your DSpace, it can be used without a problem to offer download
for large files, or to setup a streaming solution, either with an open
source solution or a commercial solution like
