[Dspace-tech] Hindi language search unable
Hello All In my dspace-1.7.2 i have lots of metadata in Hindi language. I want to unable search for hindi language so i can get my items with help of those hindi words. Did you check your index is created (index-init) or updated correctly (index-update)? If you're using Discovery, also update that index (update-discovery-index). Another thing that comes to mind if only the Hindi metadata is affected - Hindi uses a different script, which may not be encoded correctly when passed to DSpace, so check your UTF-8 configuration: https://wiki.duraspace.org/display/DSDOC18/Installation#Installation-ServletEngine%3A%28ApacheTomcat5.5or6%2CJetty%2CCauchoResinorequivalent%29.
