Thanks to Graham Triggs for investigating this and providing the patch. We have been using Postgres exclusively for our Dspace instance just fine, but most of our expertise is in MySQL and all our other applications use MySQL. It would be nice not have to maintain two DB engines and develop expertise in both. So I know that if we could transition to MySQL, we would. Are there any thoughts on this? Whee! I'm looking to do this as well, but unfortunately it's a lower priority than some other things. I'd love to collaborate with anyone that is working on this.
