[DX-NEWS] 100th Antarctica Award

We are delighted to report that the Antarctica Award has reached the 100th
issued certificate mark (http://www.mdxc.org/antarctica/award.asp).
Certificate #100 has been issued to Piero Marino, IT9ZGY, one of the leading
DXers in Italy, and we are honoured by his decision to add the Antarctica
Award to his impressive collection of certificates
(http://www.qsl.net/it9zgy/biografy.html) that testify his long career on
the world DX scene.
We have the opportunity to express our gratitude to all of those who have
supported us, especially
- to ARI, our national IARU society, for supporting the Antarctica Award
through the Calabria Regional Council and for publicizing the award on the
society's journal (Radio Rivista),
- to the RSGB IOTA Committee, for making the Antarctica Award Directory the
official source of information for the IOTA Programme as far as Antarctic
Base stations are concerned,
- to Gabriele Antonelli (I5-1990), for writing the Antarctica Award 
software
(http://www.mdxc.org/antarctica/download.asp), which makes the participation
in the Antarctica Award easier.

Heartfelt thanks go to each and all the participants in the Antarctica Award
whose continuing support enables the Mediterraneo DX Club to help amateur
radio operators in Antarctica.

If any subscriber recognizes this, please let me know.  I am getting 
tired of receiving these messages and plan on deleting the person 
responsible for them

If someone does not want DX-NEWS messages, then unsubcribe, but 
please DO NOT put the reflector on one of these lists..it's very 
inconsiderate of everyone behind the scenes that has to deal with 
them..namely ME

I have already let go 5 other subscribers for similar practices as 
well as 2 who selectively blocked messages from other subscribers

Sorry about the rant, but neither mentioned e-amil addresses seem to 
be on the subscriber list

Any help is appreciated
