SRI LANKA, 4S7.  John, NZ9Z is active as 4S7NZG until July 7.
Listen for him around 1200-1800z, typically from 1200-1400z on 15
meters and 1700-1800z on 20 meters.  QSL via NZ9Z.

ISRAEL, 4X.  Members of the Israel Amateur Radio Club (IARC) will
activate 4X19MG in honor of the 19th Maccabiah Games from July 18 to
30.  QSL via 4Z1TL.

CYPRUS, 5B.  Tony, RT9T will be QRV as 5B4ALB from July 6 to 16.
Activity will be on all bands and modes.  QSL via RT9T direct only.
Tony will also participate in the IARU HF Championships as a member
of the P3N team.

RWANDA, 9X.  Operators Allan, G3XAQ, Nick, G3RWF and possibly others
will be active as 9X0XA and 9X0NH, respectively, during the CQWW DX
CW Contest.  QSL both call signs via G3SWH.

UKRAINE, UR.  Members of the Ukrainian Radioamateur QRP Club are
celebrating their 15th anniversary and will activate special call
sign EO15QRP from July 12 to August 12.  QSL via UT2AB, via the
Bureau or direct.

FERNANDO DE NORONHA, PY0F.  Leo, PP1CZ will be QRV from July 25 to
30.  He will be active as PY0F/PP1CZ and taking part in the RSGB
IOTA Contest.  Before and after the contest Leo will be on the newer
bands, mostly CW and RTTY with some SSB.

ECUADOR, HD.  Members of the Quito Radio Club (HC1QRC) will be
operating as HD082QRC from July 13 to 23 to celebrate its 82nd
anniversary.  Activity will be on 160 to 2 meters using CW, SSB and
RTTY.  QSL via HC1JQ direct.

CHINA, BA.  Ma, BA4MY will be active as BA4MY/4 from Jiming Island
from July 21 to 29.  Activity will be on the HF bands.  He will also
be an entry in the RSGB IOTA Contest.  QSL via BA4EG direct, by the
Bureau, LoTW or eQSL.

FAROE ISLANDS, OY.  Ulf, DL3UB will be QRV as OY/DL3UB from July 29
to August 9.  Activity will be holiday style, primarily using CW on
30, 17 and 12 meters.  QSL via this home call sign, direct or via
the Bureau.

CHILE, CE.  A group of operators will be QRV as XR77RG during the
month of July to commemorate the 77th anniversary of the Radio Club
Rancagua.  Activity will be on all bands using SSB and PSK.  QSL via
CE4RG.  In addition, a group of operators will be QRV as XR3PN
during the month of July to commemorate the birth of Chilean poet
and diplomat Pablo Neruda.  Activity will be on all bands using SSB,
RTTY and PSK.  QSL via CE3OEV.

SWEDEN, SJ.  Eric, SM1TDE will operate as SJ1SOP for the Sea Of
Peace (SOP) award until July 31.  Activity will be CW only on 160
to 6 meters.  During the RSGB IOTA Contest, Eric will be signing
SA1A from Gotland Island (SM1), IOTA EU-020.  QSL via SM1TDE,
preferably by the Bureau.

KAZAKHSTAN, UP.  Members of the Traveling Radio Amateurs Group
(UP44WFF), Mountains Committee of Kazakhstan and Almaty Radio
Amateur League will be active as UP4WWF between July 5 and 7.
Operations will be on 40 to 10 meters using CW and SSB.

MARSHALL ISLANDS, V7.  Mike, KJ6MZ (ex-V73/KJ6BBP) is active as
V73MZ from Kwajalein Island (OC-028) for the next few months.  QSL
via Mike Szelazek, P.O. Box 22409, San Diego, CA 92192, USA.

LAOS, XW.  Larry, AG6OU is active as XW6OU.  It is not known how
long he will be there.  Activity is on 20 meters.  QSL direct (see
QRZ.com) or via E21EIC.

ST PIERRE AND MIQUELON, FP.  Eric, FP/KV1J will be QRV from July 6
to 16, using mostly SSB and RTTY with some CW and PSK31, on 160 to
10 meters.  QSL direct or via bureau to his home call, LoTW or eQSL.

HAITI, HH.  Tom, HH5/KC0W will be active from the northern tip of
Haiti from July 6 to 25, using CW only, on 160 to 6 meters.  QSL
direct only via KC0W.

ACTIVITY NOT SCHEDULED.  The operation from Ghana mentioned in
bulletin ARLD026 will not take place.  There is no operation
scheduled at this time.

THIS WEEKEND ON THE RADIO.  The 070 Club Firecracker PSK31 Sprint,
Venezuelan Independence Day Contest, DL DX RTTY Contest, DARC 10
Meter Digital Corona and QRP ARCI Summer Homebrew are all on tap for
this weekend.  The Michigan QRP July 4th Sprint is on July 4.  The
ARS Spartan Sprint and OK1WC Memorial Contest are on July 9.  The
CWops Monthly Mini-CWT Test is on July 10.  Please see page 80 in

the Malawi Scout Site at Makwawa.  Look for activity on 20, 17, 15
and 10 meters and possibly 6 meters, using CW and SSB.  QSL via
G0IAS direct only, with sufficient funds for a return.

NAURU, C2.  Pekka, OH2YY hopes to be active as C21YY between July 11
and 20.  Activity will be SSB only using a 2-element tribander beam
and dipole antennas for 40, 17 and 12 meters.  QSL via home call.

FRENCH GUIANA, FY.  Jean-Pascal, F5TND is active as FY5LH until July
29, 2012.  Activity has been on 40 to 10 meters using SSB, RTTY and
PSK.  QSL via F5KDR.

ITALY, I.  Lucio, IK8EJN and possibly other operators from ARI
Termoli will be active as IL7A from the Tremiti Islands during July
and August.  QSL via home call.

COSTA RICA, TI7.  David, K2DBK will be active as TI7/K2DBK from July
10 to 17.  Activity will be holiday style with most of his operating
to take place in the late afternoon local time.  Operations will be
SSB only on 20 to 10 meters and possibly 6 meters.  QSL via home
call.

BELIZE, V3.  Colin, KU5B will be active as V31UB between August 5
and 10.  Activity will be on 80 to 6 meters, and possibly 160
meters, using CW, SSB and the digital modes.  Look for him in the
NAQP CW Contest, August 6 and 7.  QSL via LoTW, or to KU5B.

LORD HOWE ISLAND, VK9L.  Members of the Hellenic Amateur Radio
Association of Australia will activate Lord Howe Island (OC-004) as
VK9HR between July 23 and August 2.  Activity will be on CW, SSB and
RTTY, on 160 to 6 meters.  QSL via EB7DX.

UNITED STATES, W4.  The Coastal Amateur Radio Team (CART) of Bryan
County, Georgia, has the honor of providing communications for the
Ft. McAllister Sport Fishing Club's Wounded Warrior Fishing Rodeo on
August 20.  CART will also run special event station, W4W, from
2000z, August 19, to 2000z, August 21, in honor of our wounded
warriors.  Operation will be on 20 meters using SSB and CW.  QSL to
AF4MI direct with SASE.

BRAZIL, PT.  Orlando, PT2OP will be active from the Chui lighthouse
(ARLHS BRA-024, RS-DFB 13) as PQ3C from July 17 to 20.  He'll be on
SSB only on 40 through 10 meters.  QSL via home call.

BONAIRE, PJ4.  Erik, N5SR and his dad, Jeff, K5WE will be QRV until
July 11 as PJ4/K5WE and PJ4/N5WR on all HF bands.  In the IARU
Contest they will be PJ4C.  QSL to their home calls.

CYPRUS, 5B.  Zoli, HA5PP will once again be active as 5B/HA5PP
during the CQWW DX SSB Contest (October 29-30) as a
Single-Op/All-Band entry.  QSL via HA5PP.  There may be some 6 meter
activity outside of the contest.

The QSL manager for FY5LH was listed incorrectly in bulletin
ARLD026.  The correct manager is F5KDR.

until July 22.  They will stay in the capital Ulaanbaatar for one
week and may use the station of the radio club.  The rest of the
time they will travel around showing up mobile from different

ZAMBIA, 9J.  Katsumi, JF1OKX, will be active as 9J2KK from Lusaka
until the end of September 2011.  Activity will be on 80 through 6

SARDINIA, IS0.  Flaviano, I2MOV, will be active as IS0/I2MOV until

OGASAWARA, JD1.  Koji, JI1LET, will be active as JI1LET/JD1 from
Chichijima Island (AS-031) from July 24 to 30.  Activity will be on

JORDAN, JY.  Chuck, KG9N, will be active as JY6ZZ until July 15.

PUERTO RICO, KP4.  Members of the Puerto Rico Amateur Radio League
(PRARL) will activate special event station K4C until August 1 to
celebrate the XXI Central American and Caribbean Games that will
take place in Mayaguez.  QSL direct to KP4ES.

CORSICA, TK.  Charles, F5OWT, will be active as TK0WT until July 16.
Activity will be holiday style on SSB focusing on 17 and 12 meters.

F8BBL, will be active as TK10OB from Golfe de Valinco from July 10
to 24.  QSL via bureau or direct to his home call.

BAHAMAS, C6.  Alan, K5AB (C6AAB), Renee, N5BW (C6AMR), Carolyne,
W5ETY (C6ATY), Mark, NA6M (C6AMS), and Scott, K2CK (C6ASH), will
activate Eleuthera Island from July 9 to 25.  They will use three
stations running in CW, SSB and digital modes on 160 through 6
meters.  QSL via their home calls.

MADEIRA, CT3.  Jose, CT1BOH, will be the operator of CR3E during the
upcoming IARU HF World Championship.  QSLs direct via W3HNK.
Members of the Portuguese DX Group (CS1GDX) will be QRV on all bands
and modes signing CT3/CS1GDX from July 10 to 13.  QSL via CS1GDX,
eQSL, bureau or direct.

MAURITIUS, 3B8.  Armin, DK9PY, will be active as 3B8/DK9PY until
July 21.  Activity will be CW only on 40, 30, 20, 17, 15, 12 and 10
meters.  Look for him about 10 kHz from the lower band edges.  He
may also make a side trip to Reunion Island (FR) or Rodriguez Island
(3B9).

BELIZE, V3.  San, K5YY (V31YY), Bill, W5SJ (V31SJ), and Bob, W5UQ
(V31UQ), will be QRV from Placencia from July 12 to 19.  They will
work all bands, including 60 meters, and participate in the CQ VHF
Contest.  QSL V31YY via K5YY.  W5JAY is the manager for V31UQ and
V31SJ.

DJIBOUTI, J2.  Freddy, F5IRO, will sign J28RO in CW, SSB and digital
modes mostly on his weekends (Friday/Saturday) around 1200-1300 UTC
and the evening hours during the week for the next two years.  His
QSL manager is F8DFP, who confirms via bureau or direct.

KOREA, HK.  Members of the Korea Contest Club will be active as
HL0HQ, representing the Korean Amateur Radio League (KARL) during
IARU HF World Championship.  QSL cards will be sent automatically
through the bureaus.

CHAGOS ISLAND, VQ9.  Jim, ND9M/VQ9JC, will be QRV as VQ90JC from
July 10 to 25, including the IARU HF World Championship and the RSGB
IOTA Contest.  Listen for him on all bands, including the
satellites, outside of his working hours, typically 1200 to 1730Z.
QSL via ND9M.

APPROVED FOR DXCC CREDIT.  The following operation is approved for
DXCC credit:  FT5WO - Crozet Island, between December 1, 2008 and
November 30, 2009.

THIS WEEKEND ON THE RADIO.  The IARU HF World Championship, World
Radiosport Team Championship, Feld-Hell Monthly Sprint, Straight Key
Weekend Sprint and the QRP ARCI Summer Homebrew are on tap for this

MONTSERRAT, VP2M.  Bill, W5SJ, will be active as VP2MSJ from July 14
to 21.  He can use the shack of VP2MDD and will take part in the

CUBA, CO.  The Cuba DX Group (GDXC) will activate the call sign T40C
during the upcoming IARU HF World Championship 2009 as a

TIMOR-LESTE, 4W.  Chris, 4W6FR, is QRV as time permits.  Look for
him on 20 and 17 meters using PSK.  Most of his activity takes place

TOGO, 5V.  Franco, I1FQH, will be active as 5V7PRF between July 22
and 30.  This will be a very light DXpedition with activity on 80
through 10 meters using mostly CW and some SSB.  QSL via I1FQH,
LoTW, eQSL or the bureau.

SOUTH KOREA, HL.  Jerry, N4EO, will be QRV as HL9EO from Yongsan
Barracks through mid-September as his work duties permit.  Look for
him on 20 meters and higher with a concentration on CW and PSK.  QSL
direct to N4EO.

ST. LUCIA, J6.  WB4WXE (V26HS), will be QRV as J6/WB4WXE from July
10 to 20.  Look for him mostly on 6 meters running 350 watts into a
6 element beam.  When there is no activity, or propagation on 50
MHz, he'll try 17 meters and possibly some other HF bands.  QSL via
WB4WXE.

CROATIA, 9A.  Zik, VE3ZIK (DO7ZZ), will be active as 9A/VE3ZIK from
Bilice between July 2 and August 3.  Activity will be on the HF
bands using CW, SSB and digital modes.  He will also participate in
the RSGB IOTA Contest from IOTA group EU-170.  QSL via DO7ZZ, direct
or bureau.

URUGUAY, CX.  The members of the Radio Club Uruguayo will be active
as CX1AA during the IARU CONTEST.  Activity will be on 160 through
10 meters using CW and SSB with two stations on each band, one
station on CW and the another on SSB.  QSL via W3HNK.

MOBILE TOUR, Europe.  Jurij, MM0DFV, started a 7000 km mobile tour
on July 7.  The route is:  Scotland (MM0DFV/m), England (M0DFV/m),
France F/MM0DFV/m), Belgium (ON/MM0DFV/m), Germany (DL/MM0DFV/m),
Poland (SP/MM0DFV/m), Belarus (call sign yet unknown, Russia (call
sign yet unknown), Kazakhstan, (call sign yet unknown).  His
emphasis will be on PSK.  Separate QSLs for each location will be
printed.

ARUBA, P4.  Operators Bob, W3BTX (P49T) and Roy, W3TEF (P4/W3TEF)
will activate P41USA over the anniversary date of the attacks on the
USA on September 11, 2001.  Look for activity on all bands between
September 8 and 17, including the September VHF Contest.  QSL via
W3TEF.

MALDIVES, 8Q7.  IK2AHG, Davide, is QRV through July 19 mostly on CW
as 8Q7DI from Maayafushi Island, (AS-013).  QSL via I8ACB.  Pierre,
8Q7QQ, home call HB9QQ, is active until July 11.  He looks for
Sporadic E and EME contacts on 50183 kHz, JT65A mode (first period)
at his moonrise and moonset.  He is also active on 30, 17 and 12
meters.  QSL to home call.

ISLE OF MAN, MD.  A team of German ops will be QRV until July 13.
Look for MD/DK1SG, MD/DG7SF, MD/DH1SBB, MD/DG1SBU, MD/DG3SHD,
MD/DG5SBK, MD/DL1SPH, MD/DL8SAD, MD/DC5SAN and MD/DL6SBN to be QRV
on 160 through 10 meters using SSB, CW, RTTY and PSK.  During the
IARU Contest they will use special call MD9Y.  The operators will be
QRV on or near the usual IOTA frequencies.  QSLs for MD9Y should go
via GD3YUM.  QSL all others via their home calls.

INDONESIA, YC0.  Hotang, YC0IEM, will be active as YC0IEM/9 from
Bali (OC-022) until July 27.  QSL via IZ8CCW.

CANADA, VE.  Gregg, VE3ZZ and Noel, VE2BR will be QRV from Prince
Edward Island from July 15 to 27 using the VY2TT superstation and
signing VE3ZZ/VY2 and VE2BR/VY2.  They will be active as VY2Z during
the IOTA contest.  QSL to home calls, direct or via the bureau.

MADEIRA ISLAND, CT3.  CT9/DK7TM, CT9/DB2TR, CT9/DL1CW, CT9/DL1SBF
and CT9/DL3ZH will be active using CW, SSB and RTTY from July 10 to
15.  They also plan to take part in the IARU HF World Championship.
QSL cards should be sent via the bureau to their home calls.

NORWAY, LA.  Trond, LA9VDA is QRV from Vagsoy Island, IOTA EU-055,

FAROE ISLANDS, OY.  Operators LA6FJA and LA7WCA are QRV as
OY/homecalls from Streymoy Island, IOTA EU-018, until June 30.
Activity is on 80 to 6 meters using CW, SSB, RTTY and PSK31.  QSL to
home calls.

ST. MAARTEN, SABA, ST. EUSTATIUS, PJ5.  Kenny, K2KW and Stephanie,
KD8GKM will be QRV as PJ6/K2KW from Saba, IOTA NA-145, from July 1
to 7.  They will be active on 40 to 17 meters.  QSL via WA4WTG.

BRAZIL, PY.  Special event station ZW50I is QRV until July 21 in
celebration of the 50th anniversary of the city of Imbituba.
Activity is on all HF bands, including 2 meters, using CW, SSB and
FM.   QSL via PP5BZ.

SWEDEN, SM.  Operators SM5EFX, SM5XZB and SM5XZC will be QRV as
SM5EFX/2 from Ledskar Island, IOTA EU-135, from July 1 to 31.  This
includes an entry in the upcoming RSGB IOTA Contest.  QSL via
SM5EFX.

GREECE, SV.  Members of the White Tower DX Team will be QRV as
SY75NE from June 29 to July 6 in celebration of 75 years of the
Hellenic Naval Week.  Activity will be on all HF bands, including 6
meters, and possibly from Lighthouse ARLHS GRE-096.  QSL via SV2HPP.

CANADA, VE.  Special event station VE2008VQ is active until July 27
in celebration of the 400th anniversary of the foundation of Quebec
City.  Activity is on 80 to 6 meters.  QSL via VE2AWR.

THIS WEEKEND ON THE RADIO.  ARRL Field Day, NCCC Sprint, Digital
Pentathlon, Ukrainian DX DIGI Contest, His Majesty King of Spain SSB
Contest, Marconi Memorial HF CW Contest and the ARCI Milliwatt Field
Day will certainly keep contesters busy this weekend.  The RAC
Canada Day Contest is scheduled for July 1.  Please see June QST,

CHILE, 3G.  Claudio, CE1VIL will be active using the special Chilean
callsign 3G100S until August 1.  Activity is to commemorate the
100th anniversary of the Scouting movement.  QSL via XQ1KY, direct
or via the bureau.

MONTENEGRO, 4O.  Look for David, OK1FJD to be active as 4O6DJ on a
small expedition between July 7 and 14.  Activity will be on HF
including the WARC bands and 6 meters.  QSL via OK6DJ.

MALDIVES, 8Q.  Al, JA9APS will be active as 8Q7NK between July 6 and
9.  He hopes to operate on 40 through 6 meters using SSB, CW and
RTTY.  QSL via his home callsign.

CHINA, B1.  Jacques, F6HMJ, will be one of the team members for
station B1HQ for the IARU HF World Championships Contest, July 14
and 15.  He is expected to be on 20 meter CW.  Outside the contest
he will be signing BY1TX/F6HMJ during his free time.

MOROCCO, CN.  Claude, F5OGE, will be traveling throughout Morocco
between July 13 and 29 and is expected to be active as CN2GE or
CN2GE/m.  Activity will be mainly on 40 and 20 meters using CW and
SSB.  While on his way to Morocco, July 10 and 11, and when
traveling back home, July 29 and 30, he will sign F5OGE/m and
EA/F5OGE/m.  QSL via F5OGE, either direct or via the bureau.

MARKET REEF, OJ0.  Look for 3 to 4 Swedish operators to be active as
OJ0/home call until July 9.  Operators are Peter, SM0BSO, Stellan,
SM0LQB, Jan, SM5XGJ and Eric, SM1TDE.  Lars, OH0RJ is expected to
join them.  Activity will be on 160 through 2 meters, with 3 to 4
stations on CW, SSB and the digital modes.  QSL via the operator's
instructions.

CYPRUS, P3.  Operators Manos, 5B4AFQ, Kostas, 5B4AIR, Andreas, 5B8AP
and Marios, 5B8BE will activate Cape Akamas Lighthouse as P3CA, July
7 and 8.  Activity will be on HF, 6 and 2 meters using CW, SSB, FM
and APRS on 144.800 MHz.

NETHERLAND ANTILLES, PJ2.  Salvatore, DH7SA reports he will be
active as PJ2/DH7SA from Curacao Island July 9 to 16.  QSL via his
home callsign.

ASIATIC RUSSIA, UA9.  Operator Gerhard, DL6XK will be active using
the special station UE9CXK from Sverdlovsk, until July 15.  QSL to
DL6XK, via the bureau.

BELIZE, V3.  Dennis, K7BV will operate from Caye Caulker off the
Belize coast between July 7 and 17.  The focus of the trip is 6
meters, but there will be plenty of HF activity when 6 meters is not
open.  His callsign is not yet assigned.  QSL via W1JJ.

AFGHANISTAN, YA.  Dejan, 9A4ZD has been active as YA/9A4ZD on 20
meter SSB.  Watch around 14300 kHz at various times.  He was also
spotted on 18130 kHz after 1130z.  QSL via his home callsign.

SRI LANKA, 4S.  Look for Nelson, 4S7NE on or near 18069 between 1100
and 1300z.

UNITED ARAB EMIRATES, A6.  Abdullah, A61Q likes 20 meter CW, usually
around 14024, between 0230 and 0440z.  QSL via EA7FTR.

THIS WEEKEND ON THE RADIO.  The IARU HF World Championship, Classic
DX Contest, DL DX/RTTY Contest, DARC 10 Meter Digital Corona,
Venezuelan Independence Day Contest, QRP ARCI Summer Homebrew Sprint
and the Original QRP Contest will certainly keep contesters busy

AFGHANISTAN, YA.  Daniel, DL5SE, is signing YA0Y with 100 watts and
a groundplane from Kabul until September.  QSL via DL5SE.

CROATIA, 9A.  Franz, DL3PS and Zik, DL/VE3ZIK (4N1DX) will be active
from Bilice through July 31 as 9A/DL3PS and 9A/VE3ZIK, respectively.
Look for them on 40 through 6 meters.  QSL via DL3PS, bureau is OK.

URUGUAY, CX.  Look for the official station of the Radio Club
Uruguayo (RCU), CX1AA, to be in the IARU HF World Championship
Contest.  Activity will be on all bands.  QSL via P.O. Box 37, 11000
Montevideo, URUGUAY or via the Bureau.

DOMINICAN REPUBLIC, HI9.  Ralph, DL9MWG, will be active as
HI9/DL9MWG from July 28 to August 16.  Activity will be mostly CW on
all HF bands.  QSL via the bureau.

ARUBA, P4.  Look for P40HQ to be active in the IARU Contest, using
all bands and modes.  QSL via Mario, I2MQP.

ALAND ISLANDS, OH0.  OH0/DC7VS, OH0/DC7ER and OH0/DL7NJ will be QRV
using SSB, CW, SSTV and PSK31 from July 10 to 24.  QSLs via home
calls.

EL SALVADOR, YS.  Rick, N1RL/YS, will be QRV mostly in CW on 20 or
17 meters during his spare time until July 11 if conditions are
suitable.  He is also interested in FM satellite operations and the
new echo satellites.

ASIATIC RUSSIA, UA9.  UA9JRN, UA9JPB, RW9JT and RX3BP will depart
for their four day trip to the island Obskoj Guby on July 12 or 13.
They will be QRV as home calls/mm on their way and hope to hit the
airwaves for 3 or 4 days on July 16.

FIJI, 3D2.  Norm, W1BYH, will be active as 3D2BY from Viti Levu
using CW, SSB, RTTY, and PSK on 40 through 10 meters from July 5 to
14.  QSL via e-QSL or to W1BYH.

HONDURAS, HR.  Mark, HR1/W4CK, will be QRV from Tegucigalpa using CW
and on the WARC bands until July 15.

ST. MAARTEN, PJ5.  Mario, K2ZD, and Jim, K4BI, are QRV as PJ7M,
especially on 6 meter Sporadic E until July 12.  QSL via K2ZD.
