[Dx4win] Packet spots won't post?

2002-04-02 Thread WYsixK
Good Grief! I've gotten the log into a state where the packet spots
don't post. I see them go by and the last 5 post when I give the sh/dx
command. But they don't post automatically. What feature do I need
to turn off to get it to post again?

Thanks!
Michael

[Dx4win] Packet spots won't post?

2002-04-02 Thread WYsixK
Thanks Jim,

I had already deleted all spots and that didn't make any difference.

But I fixed the problem by rebooting. I had closed down and restarted
DX4Win several times to no avail. But when I closed everything down
and rebooted - it was all magically fixed.

Normally I reboot before asking for help but this didn't seem like a
very likely candidate for that. Oh, well, now I know. When in doubt,
always suspect MS! :-)

Thanks to all who gave me tips!

Michael

Check to see if you have packet spots from 12/31/02 in your window,
 or if you
have spots from late in the day on April 2 (i.e. in the future). I
 had to
delete a whole bunch of spots this morning because they had the wrong
 date.
Once I did this, new spots went into the window at the bottom.

[Dx4win] First time worked

2002-04-02 Thread Pawel, SP7PS
Hello Alfred,
Have you tried Remove duplicate QSLs under Labels - Change QSL
routing?
First you have to make filter for Spanish stations in range of two dates.
Next set print flags to YES and then remove duplicate QSLs.
If you need more assistance let me know and I will help you.

Subject: [Dx4win] First time worked

 Hello friends:
My name is Alfred, EA5YJ, and I have a question if
 anybody can anwer me.
How I can list (to send QSL to printer) the QSO made between 2 dates,
but only I want in that list the first QSO with that station. For ex.:
List the QSO between 30-Mar-2002 to 31-Mar-2002 with Spanish stations,
but if I worked that station previously , that station must not appear
 in the list.

 Please help.

[Dx4win] Filtering and DXCC Award Submission

2002-04-02 Thread Michael Albers
Hi all @ DX4win;

I have read all the help files. I am not clear on filters and awards.
I have entered all my paper logs into DX4Win. I have imported all my
contest files that will import. I have also entered all the cards
(700+) that I have received.=20

As I was entering the cards, I was using the F2 key to check on DXCC
award status. I am not sure that I did that correctly in the beginning.
If I reset the DXCC submission flags, can I filter or sort my log to
pickup the first QSO that shows confirmed from each DX country in my log
and set its award flag to Submitted?

If this doesn't work, any tips on this area would be great.

Thanks

[Dx4win] Filtering and DXCC Award Submission

2002-04-02 Thread Wendell Wyly W5FL
If in entering the data, when it said do you want to submit this card and
you put those in a separate box, then the submission will match your box.
Save a copy of this log and your .cty file so you can back up to this point
if you need to do so. If you did not separate them, then just clean ALL
submission flags, and when you do a DXCC submission, being sure you have all
the boxes checked correctly in the DXCC preferences. It will take the LAST
received (not the first) for each country for submission. If you have
previously submitted cards to DXCC, then you will have to do a manual entry
for CHECKED for each one. Only once does this happen.
