[Dx4win] Filters

2004-07-27 Thread john paul
Has anyone used multiple filters to set up different qso's?

I am trying to figure out how to set filters for stations for
multiple events. i.e. qrp and Fists at the same time.
Has anyone tried this or if so how do you do it in the groups
box?

Message-ID: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

I am new to DX4WIN, and would like to know if there is a work around to
my (admittedly) very small problem.

There are a number of stations in my log that I have worked that have
exactly the same callsign, although their addresses have been different.
Indeed, their entity has been different.

For example, 3D2XX worked from both Fiji and Rotuma.

In the 'Notes for this Call' field, I typically enter the name of the
station, and their basic address.

In DX4WIN, I find that, the SECOND time I enter a QSO with the same
call, DX4WIN updates the FIRST address.

Is there a way that I can record different addresses in this field for
the same call - and how?

Go to LabelsMark for qsls
you will choose dxcc of course but there are selections for bands, waz, etc.
Becareful that dx4win will look what you have under
the filepreferencesdxcc
that means if you have not a band or a mode checked , probably it will not
mark the appropriate qsls.

How do I create a listing of QSL's I need to send out for new countries only
(with the DX Callsign) ?

Thanks,
Tim

[Dx4win] Query - 'Notes for this Call'.

2004-07-27 Thread J. F. Samuels
Yes!
1. Place variable information in the Notes for this QSO, not Notes for this
Call.
2. Use the Prefix box to correctly identify where the station is for that
QSO -- 3D2/R, for example.

[Dx4win] Entering QSOs off line

2004-07-27 Thread Jim Reisert AD1C
--- John Becky Baer [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote:

When CW is selected in mode, entering a sent RST automatically toggles
to the Rcvd RST which then auto toggles to the next selected box, which in
my case is Notes for This Call. That's a nice feature which speeds hand
entering. However, the same does not apply to SSB QSOs. A manual tab is
necessary to move from Srst to Rrst to Notes.

This is because SSB reports can be two or three characters. Aurora contacts
usually have an A suffix appended to them, i.e. 57A. SSTV may have
something similar. You can use the space bar (instead of TAB) if that feels
easier.

I would like to upload about 6k QSOs to LOTW.
I have not been able to find a way to do a batch updating of the upload field.
I would like to do this from the date of my vantity call 11/25/1997.

Has anyone been able to do this?
Thanks,

Vollie,

With the QSO filter active:
QSO Window | Labels | Set Upload flags

DX4WIN treats setting this flag like setting the label print flag,
