Bruce,

the Recvd field is in version 8.05; right next to the rstR field.

[Dx4win] Recvd Box

2018-01-04 Thread Bruce Blackley
I was looking through my log after I moved it into 9.03 from 8.05. I
noticed that many of my contacts had a value in the box marked "Recvd" just
to the right of the boxes marked "rstS and rstR". Is there any way to clear
that box in the whole log without having to deleting them one at a time?
Since that field was not even version 8.05, I don't know why anything
should have been put into that box when I moved the log over to 9.03.

Tnx

Bruce Blackley

[Dx4win] Data Mode

2018-01-04 Thread Larry Burke
I'm using DX4WIN with an Icom IC-7851. The CAT controls work well however
DX4WIN does not seem to recognize when the rig is set to the DATA mode
(e.g., USB-D1). DX4WIN just sees the rig as being in the SSB mode. Is there
a way to have DX4WIN recognize when the rig is in the DATA mode?

Re: [Dx4win] DX4Win not holding window positions - More info

2018-01-04 Thread Bud Semon
John,

Do you have a skin selected under File, Preferences, on the Screen tab?
There is a known bug in version 8 that the windows change size every time
you open the program. You can select No Skin and the problem should go
away. That bug was fixed in version 9.

Re: [Dx4win] DX4Win not holding window positions - More info

2018-01-04 Thread John Pritt
What's interesting is that the Title Header of each window remains in
the same position but the size of the window shrinks a bit from what I
resized them to.  The windows that are Fixed (non-adjustable in size IE:
the Entry window) in position and size remain the same. After resizing
the windows, how I want them, I wrote the INI file and replaced the one
in the  Save directory with the same results when I restart the program.

the windows, within DX4win, won't hold their position. Under
preferences in the Screen tab I have checked to leave all windows in
original position and Under File I chose Save changes and Exit.  Can
someone help me out on this please?

[Dx4win] DX4Win not holding window positions

2018-01-04 Thread John Pritt
I saw this posted once before but I didn't read close enough to remember
the fix and mine, at the time, had no issue.  I've installed DX4Win V 8
into my new replacement Win 10 PC and all works well except the windows,
within DX4win, won't hold their position.   Under preferences in the
Screen tab I have checked to leave all windows in original position and
Under File I chose Save changes and Exit.  Can someone help me out on
this please?
