[Dx4win] Laptop upgrade XP SP3 to Win7

2014-06-11 Thread Andy Hewitt
Hi a bit of advice please.
I am in the process of retiring an old PC used when travelling and operating
from XE.
I have DX4win uploaded and running as well as CCUser cluster software connected
to VE7CC-1. I have transferred all (I think) of the setting from one laptop to
the other but when DX4Win will not see the data from CCUser. From the drop down
menu in the Packet window I select LOCALCC User,localhost:7300 but nothing
happens.I have also tried connecting directly to a local node with the same
result.

The new laptop is 64 bit.

[Dx4win] DX4win ver8.05 with TS950sdx

2012-01-07 Thread Andy Hewitt
GM all,

I have been using various versions of DX4Win with the TS950sdx for some
years now but a couple of days ago something went wrong and I have been
unable to find the fault, if such it is. Now if I click on a spot in the
band map I get a beep from the rig, the mode changes, and the red arrow in
the band map moves to the new band/frequency but it only stays there for a
second or so then reverts to the previous band/frequency. The frequency on
the rig does not change. If I change band and/or frequency manually on the
rig the arrow and the frequency at the top of the band map track rig as it
should.

Any ideas anyone?

But under DX4WIN, upon selecting internet address and choosing LOCALCC

I am able to connect directly to VE7CC-1 from the DX4WIN program (but this

[Dx4win] A little help and advice please

2010-07-21 Thread Andy Hewitt

Re: [Dx4win] A little help and advice please

2010-07-21 Thread Andy Hewitt
Jim,
Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately for some reason I can't open ver7.06,
it
says it can't find the psk.dll, it's there OK in the DX4W directory but after
I
set up 8.04 it won't work.

No problem anyhow.

I opened the .INI file with notepad and there under radio are the settings,
they
may not get transferred but they are recorded. In the case of the IC706mk2g the
baud rate should be 4800 (not 1200 as DX4W wants) and the address 4E (not 48 as
the default in DX4 is, nor 50 as the notes for the radio in Preferences says).
DTR and RTS are low and it's all working now.

Many thanks for your help, I've copied this to the support reflector just in
case any one else has the difficulty.

Hi Andy,

The ICOM settings don't transfer. You have to run DX4WIN 7.06 and see
exactly what your radio configuration looks like, then write down
those settings and enter them in to 8.04. If you can't run 7.06, I
don't know what else since I don't have that radio.

On my 756, I make sure that the baud rate (menu inside the radio) is
set to a real number (not auto), and then uncheck the default baud
rate box in DX4WIN and set the baud rate to match the radio.

Other than that, the rest of the 706mk2g settings should be correct.
If you have a real ICOM CI-V interface and a COM port, or a USB
interface like microHAM or RigBlaster, then you don't need to bother
with DTR/RTS settings. Otherwise if you have a serial cable interface
to real COM port, then try each of the four combinations to see which
one works. If you have a serial to USB converter, then all bets are
off.

Jim,

I knew you would have the SOLUTION! That worked FB! I put a date in of
01-01-2009 and actually got 103 confirmations from qsos, I suppose that had
been confirmed after subsequent downloads. I suppose this is an exercise
that one should do from time to time as I have also myself been adding
really old qsos from my paper log to DX4Win and uploading those from time to
time. The stations I worked obviously would not get those if they did not go
back a while occasionally when doing downloads.

Thank you very much

Try downloading lotwreport.adi again, but this time with a really old

I cannot be sure that it was included in a download as the most recent

UPL cfm flag to Y in DX4Win. Can anyone suggest why? Can I just do it
 manually?

Are you 100% sure that ZK2V was in the ADIF file you downloaded from LoTW?

What version of DX4WIN are you using?

If version 8, in your DXCC award preferences, are both QSL and LoTW
checked?

[Dx4win] ZK2V

2009-08-27 Thread Andy Hewitt
I worked Chris ZK2V on 20m on three modes. My qsos were uploaded to LoTW in
June and were immediately shown ad QSL'd. They appear as such in the Award
Credit Matrix with X for each mode and 20m. Since that date I have
downloaded a lotw report a couple of times but this entity does not flip the
UPL cfm flag to Y in DX4Win. Can anyone suggest why? Can I just do it
manually?

Absolutely, Andy! I've been a busy beaver this weekend trying to get
everything up-to-date. No one should have to immediately download any

Everyone will need a new key for version 8 (the key format is
different). You will still be able to download the demo, but it can't
save/print QSOs (just like other major version upgrades), until you
you get a new key.

[Dx4win] DX4Win/LoTW help and advice please - Again!

2009-07-09 Thread Andy Hewitt
I have just uploaded 24 recent 6m QSOs to LoTW but have a glitch. The
actual upload was for 27 QSOs as I also added some very old QSOs into my log
for some QSL cards that I found for some contacts back in the 1980s. When
the QSOs were uploaded every thing seemed OK but I noticed that my total log
QSOs in DX4Win is 15455 but LoTW shows 15466. Until this upload my log and
LoTW concurred. It was not rejected nor was a discrepancy high lighted until
I tried to download the report. When I did this I got a window in DX4Win
saying Upload aborted duplicate QSO A7/M0GFA. I have looked at the
activity report and it says no discrepancy found and also says that
amongst others it found a QSL for A7/M0FGA.

There is obviously a discrepancy somewhere but I cannot find it. Can I go
back and delete the last up load and repeat it? Would that solve the
problem? I could reset the upload flags and upload the whole log but would
that help? There are some really good QSLs in addition to the A7 that I
would like to get correctly into DX4Win.

Thank you for any help and suggestions.

[Dx4win] FW: DX4Win/LoTW help and advice please - Again!

2009-07-09 Thread Andy Hewitt

Well guys,

I don't know what to make of it. None of these 27 QSOs could have been
uploaded before. Nothing show about duplicate records on LoTW Your
Account/Your Activity tab. There it just shows an upload of 27 QSOs with 6
QSLs. Below is a copy of the Activity report. It is only when I try to
upload the QSLs that DX4Win informs me that the download has been aborted
because A7/M0FGA is a dupe. I deleted that QSO from my log (keeping the
details to add it back in later) and it then told me that SV1JSQ is a dupe.

So where is the dupe - in LoTW or DX4Win? 22 of these QSOs are only from the
past few weeks, the other 5 were not in my DX4Win log before so added them
when I found that I had paper QSLs for them.

Does this glitch mean that from now on I'm going to have discrepancies
whenever I upload my log and then download QSLs?

Is there any way to get back to a clean position so that future uploads etc
are clean?

Jim, Larry,

You are absolutely right! I have done enough uploads and report downloads
now that I should know better. That was precisely what I did not do:- I did
not scroll right down in the Options for duplicate QSOs menu. I had the

confused by the difference in the QSO count which has been on the nail up

Andy, I'm very confused by your description.

First, have you read this application note, from beginning to end?

http://dx4win.ad1c.us/appnotes/lotw.htm

This is the process in a nutshell:

- from DX4WIN, export for LoTW
- using TQSL, sign the ADIF file to create a .TQ8 file
- at the ARRL LoTW web site, upload the .TQ8 file
- from the ARRL LoTW web site, download your lotwreport.adi file
- back in DX4WIN, import the lotwreport.adi file as ADIF, using the
imported QSO sets upload confirmed option

That's all described in the application note.

When you download your lotwreport.adi file from ARRL, there could be
QSOs in there that you previously downloaded. For example, say I
download QSOs from LoTW on June 23. The next time I download from
LoTW (say, July 4), the pre-filled start date will be June 23. Thus,
any QSOs that were confirmed on that date (note this is not the QSO
date, but the date that the LoTW system determined there was a match)
will show up again in the new lotwreport.adi file. Upon import,
DX4WIN will report that those QSOs are already confirmed. It's just a
warning, no duplicates are created anywhere.

Does this make sense after reading the application note?

Now if you changed the pre-filled start date to June 24 when you
downloaded from LoTW the second time, but there were system matches on
June 23 that were not in the previous download (i.e. they happened
after your June 23 download), you won't get those QSOs in the
lotwreport.adi file. I.e. you will be missing LoTW confirmations in
your DX4WIN log.

This doesn't address the issue of the QSO count differences, but I
don't worry about it myself.

2009-05-07 Thread Andy Hewitt
I was very grateful for the advice given to me on here a couple of weeks
ago. But what I was trying to do then did not work out so I wonder if you
can help me again please.

The problem is that when I did my first log upload to LoTW last year I did
not enter my location details into the system. This resulted for some reason
in my CQ zone being 15 and the ITU zone and IOTA also being wrong. I have
corrected that now but I now need to do an upload of my complete log again
so that anyone getting a QSL with me gets credited with the correct data. I
have reset the upload flags to Y, that works, but I cannot reset the upload
date. In AD1C's application note he says that: if a QSO's upload date is
already set then that QSO will not be marked for upload again.

I went through the whole procedure with all the upload flags set to Y but
the only QSOs that were uploaded were the most recent with UPLOAD marked as
Y and no upload date. How can I reset the upload date to blank? That seems
to be the problem.

Re: [Dx4win] New Application Note: DXCC Award Tracking

2009-01-13 Thread Andy Hewitt
Sorry for the bother Mike, however perhaps you (or someone else) will know
the answer to the following:

If I look at the DXCC summary (excluding deleted) I have 1311 entities/
cards for submission. If I then open the SUBMISSION it only shows 391
stations listed. I have tried clearing the SUBMITTED award flags and then
rehitting SUBMISSION with the same result. I just cannot see how those 391
cards will fill in all the gaps.

Andy,
Not sure why the 30 Q listing. However, you are correct that you will get
whatever credits are available from the 1300 cards. One more thing to note
is that it is actually the contacts rather than the cards that are counted.
That is, if you send in 100 cards but half of them have two confirmations on
them, you will end up with 150 credits rather than 100 UNLESS you tag the
multi-Q cards with an indication of which Q to count. With a large
submission that can be a bit of a surprise when the bill comes in!
Good luck and congrats on all the awards. Oh yeah, I think the plaques are
overpriced but they sure do look nice on the wall.

Andy Hewitt wrote:

Jim and Mike,

No I don't want to break it down at all. I have 216 confirmations on LOTW so
really, I think, I only need to worry about the 108 that are not confirmed
on LOTW but for which I have cards, plus all the various card confirmations
I have for the individual bands. I can get the cards field checked in the UK
at one of the conventions/rallies so I am not risking the cards nor paying
postage. I will then only have to pay for the certificates plus whatever the
field checkers charge over here.

This is what comes of only becoming interested in getting wall paper (the
only one that matters) late in life.

I have found another oddity:- in DX4Win if I go into REPORTS-DXCC-FIVE BAND
SUBMISSION I get a list of about 30 stations that I have worked on all five
bands. Not the list of stations that make up 100 entities for each band. I
don't even know if these 30 are all that I have worked on five bands or not
but that is what DX4W brings up.

I assume that if I get 1300 cards checked against band and mode when they
are entered into the system it will all come out in the wash. Or, is that
too simple?

Jim,
I suspect that is exactly what Andy wants to do, submit separately.
With 1300 cards to be checked, that figures up to something like $12 for
the first 120 Qs and $177 for the next 1180. Then there will be an
additional $12 for each certificate so, assuming 5BDXCC, that is another
$60 for each band plus another $12 for the 5BDXCC cert. That brings him
to about $261, not counting Registered Mail round trip for about 9
pounds of cards! I don't think I would be willing to trust the PO with
nearly every QSL I owned, all in one place at one time!
Bu the ARRL still has Andy in a tough (expensive) spot because, unless
he wants to spread this job out over several years, he is still going to
have to either take the 15 cents/card hit for some oversized shipments
or pay the extra $10 per submission to submit more than once per year!
Oh yeah, don't forget the extra $12 per for the CW, SSB, and RTTY DXCC
certs...
Andy, my suggestion is, once you decide how big a hit you want to take
at a time, is to export the submissions to EXCEL and sort them into
whatever bitesize chunks you desire. Just make sure your export file
includes the various submission categories.

Re: [Dx4win] New Application Note: DXCC Award Tracking

2009-01-12 Thread Andy Hewitt
Jim,
As I said in my direct email many thanks for producing this application
note. One thing that I do not seem to be able to get right is the
SUBMISSION. As I have never submitted an application for DXCC using cards
I have something like 1300 cards to be checked if I apply for separate mode
and band awards as well as the mixed mode. As I seem to have ticks in all
the right boxes I was expecting the submission to contain all the cards to
the total shown in the summary. However if I clear all the flags I can get a
Mixed mode submission for 324 entities, then I clear the flags again and I
get 175 entities for 6m. Do I have to keep doing this for each band and
mode?

Many 73

I've written a new application note entitled, DXCC Award Tracking.
You can find it here:

   http://dx4win.ad1c.us/appnotes/dxcc.htm

This is in response to the various questions on the reflector in recent
weeks about DXCC submissions. It attempts to cover the following topics:

* The DX4WIN Submission Process

* I already have DXCC Award credits, but have never tracked them in
   DX4WIN. What do I do?

* How does LoTW Complicate Things?

This is my first draft and is a work in progress. If there are typos or
other mistakes, or something isn't clear, or isn't addressed, please let
me know so I can update it.

[Dx4win] DX Spot window

2008-11-13 Thread Andy Hewitt
Hi,

This morning FK8CP was spotted on the cluster on 7016 cw. However in the
DX4Win DX spot window it was only indicating that it was worked but not
confirmed (blue type). I have worked FK on other bands but not 40m and I
have it confirmed only on 20m. Other countries in the same situation i.e
still needed on a particular band or mode indicate as such with red, blue or
green backgrounds. I have looked at the station, qso and dxcc tabs under
FILE/PREFERENCES and everything seems to be in order.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Andy,

If you haven't already done so, check the awards listings under preferences.
If those are not set appropriately (whatever that is for the award(s) you
chase) the program won't respond appropriately regarding the priorities of
various spots.

If you've already done this (which I think is probable), I'm not sure what
the situation is, but I got myself into the same problem when I switched
versions (and forgot to do the .ini file), and the awards was the issue.

[Dx4win] IC706MK11g

2008-08-25 Thread Andy Hewitt
If anyone is using DX4Win with an IC706mk11g could they please advise me of
the CAT control settings? I have been using this system successfully from my
DX location for around ten years and cannot remember the settings.
Unfortunately I had a nearby lightening strike which took out the
microprocessor in the 706 and it has been replaced. I have got the rig
working under rig control with MixW but cannot get it to do so with DX4Win.
I had initially thought that the MicroHam interface had been damaged but
that is now obviously not the case.

[Dx4win] Help please

2008-07-23 Thread Andy Hewitt
HELP!

I am operating from XE1 at the moment and have had a log for my operations
here set up as xe1-g3svd for the past 10 years. Today I opened up the log as
usual (it seemed) and was operating nearly all day on 6m and worked in excess
of 40 US stations. From time to time I had to close down the laptop due to
power outages or thunder storms and the restart when the problem was over,
seemed as usual. Each time I did this I clicked on SAVE in the FILE menu.
However when I decided to finally close down for the day I tried to save the
log only to get the message demo version your log cannot be saved! No way is
it a demo version, I clicked on OK hoping to go back to the log but it just
closed down and when I started it up again all today's contacts had gone,
everything up to a 20m qso I had yesterday is in the log OK but nothing from
today. Is there anywhere that these qsos could be hiding away. In the SAVE
directory I have two files xe1-g3svd.~xl and xe1-g3svd.dxl. I have not
been able to open them and have not tried too hard as I dont want to make
matters worse. Could either of these have the information I want?

after it sufferede damage I am having trouble, and, as it was so long ago I
have forgotten the settings.

[Dx4win] 7.02 available

2006-05-15 Thread Andy Hewitt
I have 7.02 working now but, in my case still very strange results when I
click on a spot. I was on 14260 and clicked on a spot for a stn working cw
split on 18MHz. The rig went to split mode but left the RX on 14260 and
qsy'd the TX to 18150. I have checked this with other spots and result is
always similar. The rig is TS950SDX.

Apart from that everything went smoothly and everything else seems to be
functioning.

Andy, They've had various versions of DX4WIN which have really bloodied up
the TS-950SDX operation. I found one and stuck with it. Just add it to your
C:\ Program Files | DX4W701 | Radios directory and then go to
Preferences and choose it as your rig file. It will work well for you but
even it is not perfect, but as close to perfect for the 950 SDX as you'll
find. I've attached a copy of mine. Good Luck and have fun. 73, Rog-K9RB

If you find one that works better, I'd be interested in giving it a try. The

Thanks for your advice, I have tried copying the files over but no

Bill W5VW (who alos has a radio control problem with the 950SDX) sent me a
specific file for the TS950SDX, this is better, on clicking on a spot the
mode changes correctly but nothing happens to the frequency. When I first
activated DX4Win 7.01, clicking on a spot just changed the rig to cw,
whatever the mode of the spot, so this is an improvement.

I finally contacted the author of the .dll used in Dx4win and Moe advised me
to see if I had the latest version of the PSK .dll file. I only recently
upgraded to 7.01 version of Dx4win and I found that I had an older version
included in the program. The version of the .dll in the program was 1.1.5.0
and the newest was 1.1.9.0. After downloading and installing the latest
version from http://www.qsl.net/ae4jy/pskcoredll.htm
all was well. I can just about print ESP now. Heckuva deal, works great.
This solved my problem but don't know if this should be a change for
everyone or not.
But anyway thanks to Moe and Steve for the help.

[Dx4win] Label Printing

2005-09-29 Thread Andy Hewitt
I have been a DX4win user for at least ten years but I have only just got
around to trying to print qsl labels. In the course of setting up I was
advised that it would print out the labels for 410 cards. As I have only
just set one QSO so for a label I was very surprised! Maybe the programme is
looking at some of the qso's that have not been qsl'd or something like
that. Could somebody tell me how to get out of this? I only want to print
labels fro qso's from Yesterday onward. Can this be set up?

[Dx4win] TS570S

2005-06-08 Thread Andy Hewitt
 I have two rigs connected to DX4win a TS950SDX and a TS570S as Radios 1
2. Could somebody please tell me why the TS570S times out after being
connected for a few minutes. If I click on start Radio it has no effect
until I have switched the rig off and back on again. If I select the TS950
it will stay connected all day. I have tried changing the DTR/RTS settings
and the poll rate but this makes no difference.

Not much important, but I notice the following two items (may be in any
version)

1. When doing an unsuccessful search, several fields are not kept in the QSO
window: Received, State, County, Grid, QSL Manager, QSL Date and Satellite
are blank. Label N changes to Y, Cnfm, QRP and YLop change to N. Did not
check the others.

2. When doing the .03-.04 upgrade, my color preferences for spotting were
not restored.

FW: [Dx4win] Instructions for Upgrading from 6.03 to 6.04

Alan N5PA,
Many thanks for your instruction - this is simpler than those given in
the
manual. ^.04 wkd 1st time with no glitches. I do have the same minor points
I don'r understand that have been mentioned recently by others - the
Calendar window (whats it for - how do you use it?) and the large font in
the title bar. Neither are a problem but would be nice to know what to do
with them.

This is how I upgraded my system from 6.03 to 6.04 and it worked fine. No
promises, but it worked for me.

73

Alan, N5PA

Instructions for Upgrading to Version 6.04:

1. In DX4WIN version 6.03, open your Preferences window by clicking
File and then Preferences

2. Then in the Preferences window click File and Write INI File and save it
to your SAVE directory in DX4WIN version 6.03 (C:\Program
Files\dx4w603\save)

3. Download the new version of DX4WIN and save it to wherever you normally
save downloaded files to or your desktop

4. Double click the new downloaded file and it will create the new release
of DX4WIN in a directory called C:\Program Files\dx4w604

5. From the root directory of your old version of DX4WIN (C:\Program
Files\dx4w603) copy your key file to the new version root directory
(C:\Program Files\dx4w604). This file is usually your call sign dot key,
i.e. N5PA.key

6. From your old save file (C:\Program Files\dx4w603\save) copy the
following files to the new save directory (C:\Program Files\dx4w604\save):
dx4win.awd, dx4win.rep, dx4win.tcp, and your log file, which ends in .dxl

7. Open the new version of DX4WIN

8. Open your Preferences window by clicking File and then Preferences

9. Then in the Preferences window click File and Merge INI file, select the
DX4WIN.INI file we created in step 2 by going to the old directory at
C:\Program Files\dx4w603\save and click Open to merge it into your new
Preferences file

10. Once you have merged the changes you will need to make some band changes
on the DXCC, WAS, WAZ, and WPX tabs. For some reason it does not import
those from the INI file. I normally just have 1.8 MHz through 50 MHz checked
and I do not have all of the other VHF/UHF/Microwave frequencies checked.
That is your preference.

11. After you have made those changes, click File and then Save Changes and
Exit. Most of your windows will not come back into place.

12. If you use a Master Call window you will need to create a new master
call database.

13. To create a Master Calls file you click File and then Import/Export.

14. From the Import / Export Filters window highlight the CALLS id in the
filters and then select File and Export.

15. A Save As window will open up and you can create a file called
calls.txt and save it to C:\Program Files\dx4w604\save.

16. Once it is saved you can close the Import / Export Filters window by
clicking File and then Exit.

17. If you have not already, open up the Master Calls window by clicking
Window and Master Calls on your QSO window.

18. Once the MasterLookup window is open, right click inside the
MasterLookup window and two options will appear.

19. Click the Convert option and a file Open window will appear.

20. Go to the directory where you saved the calls.txt file, which should
have been C:\Program Files\dx4w604\save.

21. Key in the file name calls.txt in the File name and click the Open
button. It will convert the file into your MasterLookup window.

No promises, but you should be ready to go now with the new version. This is
how I did my conversion and it should work for you.

Hi Dani!

I had the same problem, lots of devices wanted serial ports and only one on
my main computer! I brought a VSCOM 4 x serial port adaptor that plugs into
a spare USB port. Immediately the computer (under XP) installed it and I now
have 5 serial ports. The additional 4 serial ports are used for the radios
(Icom IC746 ProII Icom IC9100), telenet and morse decoder. It was simple
Plug and Play!

XP named these 4 extra ports as COM Ports 3, 4 5 6. I have noticed that
some hardware/software only accepts COM ports 1 through 4. so it was a
matter of juggling around hardware/software that would accept the correct
port numbers.

This VSCOM adaptor is very good, I couldn?t source it in UK but found a
friendly supplier in the United States who shipped it over to me. Now they
have European distributor, try this link:

Good luck!!!

[Dx4win] Reports - DXCC

2004-12-01 Thread Andy Hewitt
GM all,
I have just upgraded from 6.02 to 6.03, without loading the latest ver
9 of
the country file, yet. despite a few hic-cups initially everything is
working fine. BUT - when I checked the DXCC wkd/cfmd reports I am 200
countries down approx. I transfered the .CTY file from the old version
(copy/paste)and my logs show the same number of QSOs.

Any ideas please.

[Dx4win] Upgrade to ver6.03

2004-11-30 Thread Andy Hewitt
Hi,
I have been using ver6.02 for a couple of years and as there is a new
country .CTY file I decided to upgrade both the Prog itself and .cty file.
In the FAQs it says that you should create a .INI file, find the line
RC=XXetc. in the SYSTEM section and delete it. I cannot find this line.
All I have in that section are two lines :
LASTLOG=C:\programfiles..etc and
DISABLED= ETC.
Also all my rig control set up information is missing so something is not
complete. My logs and other Preferences information merged OK.

Any guidance will be appreciated.

Subject: Kenwood TS570S

GA all,
About a week ago I was asking for assistance on connecting my
TS570S to the PC to control it with DX4win ver 6.02. A number of people gave
me suggestions but nothing worked. I have been contolling my TS950SDX via
the serial port for years and as ver602 now permits the control of two rigs,
I want to do just that and control the HF rig (950) and the 6m rig (570S). I
there fore bought two Microham USB interfaces the 950 wkd immediately but
the 570 does not. I therefore thought that the Microham interface for the
570(a different model) was faulty. The company sent me a replacement but the
result is the same. There are two LEDs on front, a green one shows data flow
PC-rig, that works but the red one showing data flow rig-PC doesn’t. On the
other setup both leds flash almost continuously.

I have been through the set-up for both a number of times but no
success.
Can anyone tell me if I’m missing something on the set-up for the 570? The
only menu option that, apparently affects the PC connection isa no:35 which
sets the speed and stop bits, I’ve tried 4800/1, 4800/2 and the default for
the rig 9600/1, no change. I’ve been through the various rig options in
PREFERENCE/RADIO, no good. I just get DX$win telling me that “radio has
timed out”!

I am pretty certain it is finger trouble here but what?

Any suggestions will be very gratefully received.

[Dx4win] Rig control for Kenwood TS570S

2004-03-19 Thread Andy Hewitt
Hi all,
I am running dx4win ver6.02. and want to control two rigs –
TS950SDX( which I have been contolling for years thru ver 4.xx), and a
TS570S which I cannot get the program to recognise. The Kenwood options
offered in – preferences--radio are:-
 Kenwood / 850-950(that works for my 950) / 2000 / 870 - no option for 570.
None of the options seem to work. Which should I use or is there a suitable
driver available somewhere?
