Hi, I'm new to the Satellite area but I have noticed that RS-44 is not on Sat list in DX4Win. Hi, I have noticed that when I set the max number of qso to be printed per label to2 it still prints 3. Hi, I noticed that when I configure dx4win CW using winkey setting it does not send "/" it just skip it, like 9K2HN/M will sound like 9K2HNM. [Dx4win] Flex CAT Connection
Hi, The connection was OK in ver. 8.05 with a custom radio file, but now in Ver. 9 when i choose Flexradio and the default setting it does not connect, although it works fine with witest (I chosed SDR-1000 as a radio). Hi, I'm facing two annoying issues since some time and never seen anyone complain about them, First I increased the font size for easy reading and the scale factor been amended to 86, Now when ever i oped a new log I have to go again and adjust the scale factor for the setting to be in effect again. Or the the font will not fit in the box properly. Second, when ever i mark a qsos for Sequence printing, i ended up with one qsl only to print regardless the number i have marked!! i have to close and re open the log to get the right number of qsl to print. I'm using the latest version of DX4Win and win 7 64 Bit. [Dx4win] Printer Model
Dear All, I have been printing directly on the qsl card for the past 2 years now, I'm using HP Laserjet P3015 and it is working fine with me. But I feel it is bit slow and I cant load it with more than 70 cards at any one time. Hi, I do have a question is there a way which I can print bureau labels for a specific country? Hi Jim, I had the same problem this morning, and the reason was windows update.. it run by it self and install the updates and restart your machine without closing dx4win in the proper way. Hi, Why we should wait for over six months now for a minor bug fix such as the F8 bug (reported on 20 June 2005), it really annoying problem, you have either to hit F8 again to clear call field or remove the 0 from the zone field. Hi, I have worked hard to update dx4win.awd which contain all the custom award data, I updated JCC JCG award and the Russian Island Award, also done some updates to the dx4win.tcp. If you are interested go to http://www.9k2hn.com and you will find it next to the DX4WIN link in the bottom of the page. what you have to do is backup your current files (dx4win.tcp dx4win.awd) then unzip the file in your save directory and when it asks you to over wright say yes and restart you DX4WIN and every thing will be fine. let me know if you face any problems. de 9k2hn Hamad

[Dx4win] JCC Award updating
Hi, Today I was trying to update the JCC award by editing the award file (dx4win.awd), I got the updated list from http://www.jarl.or.jp/English/4_Library/A-4-5_jcc-jcg/jcc-list.txt the problem is when I'm done and I restarted dx4win I get an error saying that I have a duplicate entry. when I removed all duplicate the program worked fine. but the problem is that these are also an duplicate in the JCC list it self. so i think DX4win should accept the same name for two different JCC number for example:- 1212 Sakura 1514 Sakura 0501 Yamagata 1915 Yamagata 2019 Konan 2311 Konan 2009 Tsushima 4209 Tsushima or shall i add the four digit after the name of the city to avoid getting the error? If the cluster is configured to filter spots, DX4Win applies its filters to that already-filtered stream. So, if your TCP/IP connection is set up to filter out all spots other than zones 14, 15 and 16, then DX4Win will only see spots for those three zones. It will apply its own filters to that stream. I hope that helps. Personally I prefer the cluster-side filtering, but that's because I'm doing more complex filters (low bands, vhf, uhf) that I find more easily configured on the cluster. That's my preference right now. What puzzles me is the DXCC listing which has W for a mode for which I have a confirmation. For example, under CE0Z - Juan Fernandez, I have a W under SSB. But in looking at the QSOs for CE0Z on SSB (I absolutely love this feature...double click and get the QSOs), I see I worked CE0Z and there's a Y in the Cnfm box. That's all accurate, as I have the QSL in hand (and it's been through the DXCC desk processing). So why do I still have W in the CE0Z SSB box? I was shocked to hear that!! how come it does not have an auto update feature?!! can you imagine how slow I will go in the US pile-up to ask every one for his state and to spell his county name also!! like every other log program in the market you should have an option to turn the auto update ON and this will update automatically the Name and the state name and the county name also.
