[Dx4win] CAT
Paul In DX4win go to File/Preferences/Radio and change the Poll rate (ms). This will change the rate in which DX4win polls your MKV. I have mine set at 1000 ms for my Yaesu FT-1000MP MKV and it works fine. With this setting the CAT light will be on every second, which is fast enough. As for the noise, are you using shielded control cable (DB9) between the MKV and your computer. If not I would give it a try. ...73 de John/KC9JS Twin Lakes, WI USA www.qrz.com/callsign/kc9js All my outgoing messages are scanned for viruses by Norton AV - Original Message - From: Paul GRANGER [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: dx4win@mailman.qth.net Sent: Saturday, May 01, 2004 09:56 AM Subject: [Dx4win] CAT Hello all Using a Yaesu FT1000MP Mark V, I have just upgraded from v5.03 to v6.02 of DX4Win. Previously, the CAT light was on continuously on the rig. Now it blinks all the time, also creating some noise when it does (on 20m). Anyone using the same rig, having the same trouble or having found the solution ? Thank you for enlightning me (us ?) 73 Paul F6EXV ___ Dx4win mailing list Dx4win@mailman.qth.net http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win

Eric, You may want to try K4MDCharlotte-NC,k4md.tzo.com as listed in the DX4win Select Internet Address drop down. K4UPRockyMount-NC,k4up.tzo.com is also listed there. In the DX4win help menu/manual go to Packet/RTTY Window: Internet connection. This will show you how to connect to a telnet cluster. Also check out http://cpcug.org/user/wfeidt/Misc/cluster.html for more info on Telnet Access to DX Packet Clusters. 73 de John/KC9JS Twin Lakes, WI USA www.qrz.com/callsign/kc9js All my outgoing messages are scanned for viruses by Norton AV - Original Message - From: Eric Wilson [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: dx4win@mailman.qth.net Sent: Sunday, January 11, 2004 10:03 AM Subject: [Dx4win] DX spotting? [Dx4win] ve2lx ft 1000d
I have a Yaesu FT-1000MP MKV and use the following, works fine; Radio Type: Yaesu FT1000MP Address: 00 Baudrate:4800 Default: checked Com Port: COM1 Poll rate (ms): 1000 Max tries: 6 Notes for radio: empty I believe for the FT1000D you have to set Radio Type to Yaesu FT1000 and check Default. Note that Notes for radio will now show Requires EPROM 6.0 or later. You must have EPROM 6.0 installed. If not your 1000D will not work with computer control. I would call Yaesu again and mention the above. Only this time talk to a different technician!!! 73 de John/KC9JS Twin Lakes, WI USA www.qrz.com/callsign/kc9js * - Original Message - From: ve2lx [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: dx4win@mailman.qth.net Sent: Wednesday, March 12, 2003 06:45 AM Subject: [Dx4win] ve2lx ft 1000d hello to all again request I will be doing the next contest with the ft 1000d but problem with my icom ic 765 the 2 digit radio adress command is 44 to configure in preference/radio but with ft 1000d unknown adress the technician direct at YAESU USA never earded about decimal radio command adress ...? dx4win log book said yesterday there is no adress with yaesu radio so I tried to remove the default 00 in the adress commad field but does not work ! so how can my logbook from my computer can see automatically from ft 1000d the band - freq - mode is there a member of this group can help me..
